I'm officially pulling out my white handkerchief and waving it around for all at Arsenal to see. I surrender, I surrender... What garbage we've been this season, only compunded by your master class in the league. We dont even deserve to be runners up. I really wished u were still in the FA cup and Champions leauge, and I wish u thrased us because only then we would realize the extent of this terrible season. But alas, we held u to a draw, beat u in the cup and now we have this false hope, but that's all it is, false hope.

I congratulate u in advance, u worked hard for this and deserve it 110%. You were better than us for the last 3 years, but we got lucky last season, but we weren't gonna get away with it this season. You're better than us in every way and I'm not ashamed to say it. A youthful, energetic team going places, a far cry from our old fart outdated team and tactics, that dont belong. Enjoy it fully.

Did you lose a bet or just your manhood? Are you a sockpuppet created by a manu hater as a joke?

Serously, I agree with everyting you wrote but to come on here and post it as a new thread is nothing short of internet-messageboard-suicide. You will be ostracized from the manu boards as a traitor and anytime you write anything negative about another team or positive about manu this thread will be thrown in your face. You should petition the powers-that-be for a new screenname immediately and perhaps hire someone you don't like to start your car in the morning in case this thread isn't the only thing that's going to blow up in your face.

Ha, nice doomsday post. I'm not a traitor, a traitor is someone who leaves and sides with the enemy. Im not siding with Arsenal(hell no), I'm just giving jack his jacket, giving credit where it's due. Besides, it makes me feel better when losing to a team like Portsmouth.

I'm a big a man utd fanatic as u are to Arsenal, but I'm not a fool, and not a sore loser. If there's something better out there, I'll acknowledge it.

It's all black and white to them after having experienced their success. They win the treble, it's all good. They don't, they're crap, and that's what they're all saying on their board. At least the guy had the class to come over here and say it.

I really think that Man U. never went into the season with high hopes. Lets face it they made huge changes over the summer, brought in new faces and everyone expected them to win. Sure they are playing out the season knowing that the crown is going to another team, but the question is have hte new people given them the chance to win the next few years. If they win the FA Cup the I say well done. I have a seat to see them in Chicago this summer and I can not wait.

Lou Bruno, maybe you didn't have high hopes, but I'm sure Fergie was intent on winning at least the championship and probably the Champions' League too. That united are probably only going to win the FA Cup will be driving him batshit. I'm sure he will resolve even harder to come back next year, he will see this campaign as a bit of a failure.

I'd have to say I feel your frustration--believe me, it's not unlike what most Arsenal fans were feeling two weeks ago. Just like your boil-over post on the Man U board asks, "Why do we hold Arsenal twice and beat them at Highbury in the Cup, yet lose to Wolves, Fulham, Pompey?" most of us have probably asked "What's wrong with the Arsenal that they can't hold a ********ing lead when they clearly dominate the game?" I can't tell you how many times that's come up. Arsenal should still be in both cups, but for this...

Playing second fiddle sucks, doesn't it?

The truth is that both teams have problems. Arsenal have fatigue; Man U have, well, off-pitch troubles that don't wear well on a team that is trying to rebuild. Yet both teams have done well enough in spite of all that. Neither is where it wants to be, yet they still control the top of the Prem table.

Expectation is a bitch, isn't it?

The good news is that Arsenal losing gives you an almost certain FA cup; and Arsenal's losing also gives Arsenal time to get their crap together in the Premiership and really bear down on the last few games. If Arsenal were still in the FA cup or CL, I assure you we'd have probably lost heinously to Liverpool and probably Newcastle as well.

It's tough living up to your hype, isn't it?

Even if Arsenal go unbeaten in the Premiership, do you honestly think anyone will consider them favorites for the next season? I think not. All the articles about the "collapse of mighty Man U"--yeah, it sucks for a Man U fan to read that. But stand on the other side of the fence for a moment. None of those same papers talk about Arsenal actually outplaying everyone and therefore earning their season, because they're too busy talking about how Man U's problems are the main reason Arsenal are in the lead. (cf. the Sun or BBC, if you disbelieve). It's sickmaking for an Arsenal fan like me to read all those articles, too, but for different reasons.

It sucks losing points to Pompey, doesn't it?

I'm sure all will be back to normal next year. Arsenal will probably blow all of their energy in the CL, trying desperately to win for the first time, and trying to get the FA cup back. Man U will open up deep pockets by selling Rio Ferdinand to Chelski, and put together a decent team with three strikers and a real midfield so that they can get back to playing attacking football. Pluss coin change, plus colenterate chose--or whatever the French say.

Thanks for being a good sport. It's commendable. If only it would stop the wave of trolls that are sure to come after Arsenal finally lose a PL game. But at least it'll stop some Arsenal supporters from gloating on the Man U boards, too.

sure, the trolls will inundate this board when it happens. But the fact that they will just goes to show how incredibly fantastic we've been this year.

Yes! We were all happy with the FA cup last year, but nonetheless there was that underlying feeling that the league should have been ours. I'm sure they feel the same way. It's nice to win the FA cup, but it's not completely satisfying for a club like the Mancs.

I'm sure that Wenger will be going all out to win the Champions League as he really wants the big prize, as well as the championship. But he has already said after our semi-final defeat that he is going to downgrade the FA Cup in his thinking next year. Look for a few more young players to get a chance in the FA Cup, not as many as in the League Cup, but it will happen all the same.

Its called class, also known as being a gracious loser. Try it out one of these days.

I'm glad most of the Arsenal fans in here are being receptive. Arsenal have had a fine season, and you should feel proud of your team just as we do when our team wins. Nothing wrong with a good-natured ribbing made in our direction, though it does seem that there is a slight obsession in here with beating us. But its all good.

Enjoy your trophy, as well as the summer, because we'll be back to return things to the status quo next season. ;)

I just wanted to add my congratulations. Arsenal have been on fire this season. You surely deserve the league title. You have made a good buy in Reyes and looked primed for next year already. I look forward to the challenge of regaining the title next season, should be a good battle.

Well, if he can stay away from the Manchester nightlife, and it all doesn't go to his head, next season we should begin to see the best of your new #7. Bring it on!

Come on you Gunners!!!

Thank you for having the class to post that...I knew there were a few classy Man Utd supporters...wink.

I bet you wish you still had Becks lobbing crosses in front of the goal for RVN...I know RVN has got to miss those fantastic balls on a platter week after week.

Becks who? There's only one number 7 at United right now. ;)

Besides, RVN did most of his scoring down the stretch last season without Beckham. Honestly, I think the "we miss Beckham" comments were just a product of the frustration that occured as a result of our poor run of form a few months ago.
