Opinions that is, and it doesn't matter if its "Should Freddy start" or "is MLS better than the 2nd Bundesliga" - you get all kinds of stuff on bigsoccer.com.
I get my jollies by visiting some of the threads and learning that John O'Brien, Ajax superstar, should consider returning to MLS if he can't agree to terms with the Dutch Superpower. Yeah, that's a good idea - come back to MLS and battle with kids, old slow guys, and other guys who would be second teamers anywhere else. Of course my opinion is the only logical one: Sign with Barcelona, all former Ajax guys go there. He'll make loads of cash, live in Spain, meet Spanish women, live in Spain, and he'll get to play left back again. Oops, he wants to play center mid...well some other Dutch guy has that job right now, and dammit this is bigsoccer.com and all that matters is I want him there.
Should Freddy Adu start: No, simple one there - he's a kid playing against men, he needs to wear them down a bit and then enter when needed. He looks great at times, but still he's a kid, and a lightweight one at that. Oh, so you think he should start over Moreno and Eskandarian - well shut the hell up - this is bigsoccer.com and who cares what you think!
Landon Donovan: Its his life, but I'd like to see him in Germany. Play one season for Leverkusen, and then hope for a move to a big club...like Barcelona. Why not - two Yanks at Barcelona would be great. I'd buy a shirt. He's got to get out of MLS to take his game to the next level, but maybe that's not what he wants out of life. Maybe he likes being the big fish in the small pond - I don't care what he likes, this is bigfreakingsoccer.com and all that counts is my opinion, well mine and 20,000 others.
Conor Casey v Brian McBride in 2006: Thanks Brian, you've been great, now please hold the door open for your replacement. Well if Conor gets a nice gig in the Bundesliga with say....Hannover in 2004-05, scores 10-14 goals working with Cletus Maximus Mathis, then he'll be the heir apparent. Plus with the WC in Germany, he'll practically be at home- you know what comes now right?
What about Jeff Agoos you say? I reply Agoos, as in Vegas...nothing more need be said.....oh my free for all posts don't count anymore...well they haven't counted since the 2nd meltdown.....Why is Man United the most loathed club in the world, they aren't for me, Arse-nal holds that title..thugs, punks, can't finish off Bolton with a 2-0 lead....let's score a Martin Ke-OWN GOAL and knock West Ham into the Nationwide....why do you hate Bayern Munich?..why don't you?...they cheat, they cheat their league, they broke the tv company, they cheat on the field..they cheat off the field...actually they cheat off the field a lot more than on the field...they cheat on their wives...their opponents...the tv company..the fans...they are all things evil....and they deny it every time.
Why don't you love Ajax - they have John O'Brien? Yeah that right, I don't like them - I respect them, but don't like them....what's it to you? Oh that's right...everybody's got one.
