Who would it be? You can choose any player, from any specific year or squad.
I would be Freddy Adu at 32
OR
myself at 8, knowing what I know now

uh...I don't know uhh maybe Eusabio or Pele!!! this is the stupiest thread I've ever seen and why would you want to be Freddie Adu at 32??? Freddie Adu is overrated!!! Because he plays football in a weak football country he's able to play for their lst division football!! If he was anywhere in europe he'd be just an above average player!!

1. We don't have a 2nd division
2. We made it to the last 8 in the World Cup in 02', hardly weak.
3. He's 14 freaking years old!!!!

1. the world cup from 2002 meant nothing to me...because there were too many upsets.
2. I wasn't talking about the US national team I was talking about the MLS
3. I don't see what being 14 has to do with anything!!! It's not like he's taking the MLS by storm!!! As a matter of fact he hasn't done anything...

It took four posts to destroy this thread... I really should add something... well I will say that I agree with your comment about being yourself at eight.
I wish I had started five years earlier... hell... i'd take two years.
alas.

i would have to agreewith being myself at a younger age i dont want o be anybody else i would rather make who i am now one of the greatest.
freddy adu would not be an above average player in europe because he is not even an above average player here. USA or the mls are not weak considering we get a majority of our nat players from the mls. what upsets besides france and argentina are you talking about and that bullcrap between usa and germany and korea and italy<<<<<<<<i guess you have a point but it wasnt worthless besides we are still 11 in fifa rankings. freddy adu is not 14 but is not past 17 and ur age does matter because while he learns hot to play professionally his physical abilities will still become much greater unlike alot of the older players whoy are at there peak or are beginning to get well "old". why do u people have to argue

rabah madjer because he scored with a classy back heel against bayern munich in the european cup final of 1987. he took porto to dizzying heights plus i think he was the best algerian player ever.

I almost agree with you but I would want to be Donavan at 50. All the experience would have to count for something.
Someone said the right thing above: this thread was a great idea but it "jumped the shark" very quickly.
