PFA Players' Player of the Year award.

Henry, Patrick Vieira, Alan Shearer, Frank Lampard, Jay-Jay Okocha and Steven Gerrard.

I think Lumpy has a chance.

And thinking about Claudio and a young English backbone. Remember Claudio was brought in to lower the age of the squad. How about this?

Young Player of the Year

John Terry, Glen Johnson, Scott Parker, Wayne Rooney, Kolo Toure and Shaun Wright-Phillips

Super Frankie should finish in the top three, if he doesn't win it outright.

It would be criminal (or fixed) if John Terry doesn't take the Young Player award.

Terry does seem to be a lock here, although of course the ManUtd boards are already saying that Ronaldo would be the obvious winner if nominated. to that one.

Speaking of SWP - we are in the market for a right mid, and he's looked pretty decent for Citeh; what do people think?

If he played all year long as he's been playing these past (very) few weeks, he would have a small chance - however, Terry has been solid for a full season.
No contest even if nominated.

Great little player all right - but, i keep thinking he's just one good knock away from being out for a month. He would be beaten black and blue in a tough European game.Bags of potential though.

Realy? The poor mans Ronaldo?

Players' Player of the Year award, as in the Player’s nominate the Players that they feel are the best and the most worthy. Looks like nobody outside of Manchester United thinks that the step-over wonder kid is all that. i.e. He was not nominated by his fellow professionals

The 3 R’s : We’ll see who’s the best next season between; Reyes, Ronaldo and Robben

Terry has to have his name on that award

I take it no one seriously thinks anyone other than Henry will win player of the year? Lampards had an incredible year but come on. If you put Henry on our team and gave Arsenal Frank, we'd have walked away with the title. Personally, I think the guy's the best player in the world, not just the Prem. Maybe not by this time next year, but I just can't see anyone but him winning it this year.
