NB 14th St Bridge SW traffic is being diverted to GW Parkway. Traffic from Springfield VA will be diverted to 495 and 95 N.

Do not try to leave south via 14th Street. SW Freeway & Parkway will be picking up much heavier volume. Look for longer workarounds.

14th st into town is a disaster right now, took me 45 min to get across......14th st is closed as is 12th st exit, the next one on 395 north

Pretty much all north-south crossings on the Mall were closed when I left work at around 3:45. The cops wouldn't let pedestrians cross the Mall at 3rd Street. Had to go around the Capitol reflecting pool, then up to the Capitol terrace to Louisiana to get to Union Station from Independence and 3rd SW.
