Hmmm... Wondering how Mlapa will figure into the mix this term.

And STILL going back and forth on whether to give this LoewenTV thing a try for a quarter. Sakes...

More than likely like they used Schaefler.

What's holding you back?

I took the plunge for this year. So like LB I will be abstaining from this forum until I see the game (which could be a while after for me). I was thinking about it last year but decided to wait and then I kept losing enthusiasm for the season. So I figure if I committed early enough . . .
Anyway it cost $55 for the whole year. I hope I get my money's worth. I am still optimistic;).

Can you watch replays of the games, or is it only live?

They are ALL replays. None of the matches are shown live.

Stupidity?
My lack of legitimate German listening skills?
Fear of commitment?

It would be very cool to see every Sechzig match, in its entirety. That is about as close as you are going to get to following the club without actually being in Bavaria, I guess.

How long do they leave them up for? All season?

That is my understanding from Garry, yes.

They stay up all season. They are available 15-45 mins after the end of the match. Great service.

Solid effort, or so it appeared, yesterday against Man City.

Hey, you take what you can get. Lienen seems to be somewhat pleased, although admittedly the club has work to do...

Of course.
And to be honest, they might do much better than originally thought.

Well, let's not get carried away. I think all of us here would prefer simply a better showing in the second half of the term.

Just how am I "getting carried away" by saying they might do better than originally thought?
Garry and I had been talking possible relegation before.
Are you sure it isn't you who read my words and possibly caught himself getting "a bit carried away??"
I know what I meant and there was no "getting carried away" in it.
How is having the slightest bit of optimism "getting carried away" man?!
Tell me that.

Simmer down. Damn. I think all of us are on the same page as to where 1860 will be this term and it will not be in the hunt for promotion like the FO is advertising.

Yeah, but I didn't refer to anything the FO said, did I?
I gave my opinion and asked you how you think I somehow got "carried away."
Yeah, your comment ticked me off a bit, but I also don't need to be told to "simmer down" either.
Maybe we all aren't on the same page as to how well they will do.
I don't agree with the FO, but I also believe they just might not wind up being as bad and Garry and I both made it out to be after the first few transfers in and out.
Add to that the less than predictable nature of the 2nd Bundesliga, and one never knows what can happen.
This team has the potential for promotion or to be in the relegation battle.
I think how well or how badly they do will be determined by how much Lienen can get them to buy into his system and philosophies.
In my opinion, none of the three teams falling back from the 1st Bundesliga looks to be a "lock" for one of the two automatic promotion spots.
I am not saying Sechzig is going to sneak in there, but what I am saying is I believe the 2nd Bundesliga is going to be a wide-open race this season.........
