And the Philadelphia Athletics were Blue and White!;)
You got that right!
The old Philadelphia Eagles' uniforms were a Bavarian blue and gold, as well.

Pourie did leave 1860 (I could not tell when I looked about a week ago) back to Schalke property. He is apparently trialling with Marco Kurz and 1. FCK and he scored a goal in a friendly.

According to this Transfermarkt.de article (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/news/29419/1860-muenchen-gibt-goektan-neue-chance-.html), Berkant Göktan is close to a new chance with 1860.
The article says club president Beeck is behind giving Göktan another shot and the article quotes Lienen as saying to "Bild" that he's just waiting for a signal from Göktan. The article also quotes Lienen as saying the "Münchner Merkur", that if Göktan comes to them in some sort of match condition, then he is welcome.
The article says Göktan has been in Asia for awhile, but should be returning soon. The article speculates there will be talks between Göktan and 1860 then.......

Needed to do an update on this, but it was too late to use "Edit".
Göktan has refused to take Sechzig up on their offer right now. He seems to need some time to get other things cleared up in his life.
Göktan said that football is just a minute part of his life and while it has served him well, there are things more important than football.
I may not have translated that exactly right, but that's pretty much what was said.
A nice rundown in German can be found at this link. (http://www.westline.de/fussball/zweite_liga/index_nachricht.php?file_name=227676&newsline=sportsline&catchline=fussball/zweitebundesliga/news&article_count=1&word_count=555&page_type=index_nachricht.php&source=sid)

Good for him to have realized that. He could have hopped right back into football and perhaps gotten back into the same mess as before, if not worse.
Good for Göktan. I am sure Sechzig will bring him back in, when he is ready.

I forgot to mention the article alluded to Sechzig pretty much saying that whenever Göktan is ready, their door is open.

Sounds like he's got his head on straight, hopefully he can make it work.

Another Serb. What a surprise. I think that is Stevic's plan. To turn the club into TSV Serbia Muenchen 1860.
Nothing against Serbs at all, but it seems that two of every three transfer rumors we get involving Sechzig involves Serbs.
This article (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/news/29472/ignjovski-kommt-zu-den-loewen.html) says that 1860 has taken 18-year old midfielder Aleksandar Ignjovski on loan from OFC Belgrade.
http://mediadb.kicker.de/news/1000/1020/1100/4000/artikel/711161/180x135_T7pjA5AsMt.jpeg
Ignjovski looks to be a d-mid in to replace Sven Bender. The article quotes Stevic as saying Ignjovski can play as a sweeper (#6) or as a straight d-mid (#8).
Stevic alos said Ignjovski is good at setting up his teammates and can score himself. The article says Ignjovski had three goals in 23 appearances in Serbia's top league last season.
I believe it says there is a purchase/take back option which either club can exercise during the duration of the loan, but either club exercising it would then have to give the kid a four-year contract.

I am torn....while I love Berki, I think Reuter did the right thing. He was offered a chance to stay with 1860 if he "got clean" under their
supervision; he did not and simply walked away. The article goes on to say that if Berki shows in "some form of match fitness" they will talk to him.

At least it was not columbia or afganistan. :D
