DAMN I LOVE TODAY!!!!!
Just saw THIS (http://www.tsv1860.de/de/aktuell/news/2009/news_2007-07-31_cooper.php) on the 1860 website and now I have to change my entire set of plans for the day. It is hard to convince my wife that I should have a margarita at 1030, but what the Hell.
Could it GET any better? KC to 1860, I get to go to his last FCD game tomorrow, B-Day Sunday and the weather will be perfect rib-cooking weather. I think I could even kiss Stevic right now.
I hereby declare an official moritorium on me calling Stevic a lying, back-stabbing, two-faced, slick-ass douche-bag until such a time that he goes back to his lying, back-stabbing, two-faced, slick-ass douche-bag ways. I delcare this in front of my Sechzge Brethren.

Heh, this is great news for the 1860 shop as well. I'm sure there'll be a lot of new fans buying kits.
Now, I'm very tempted to pick up the away kit with Cooper's name and number. It just so happens that Cleveland's colors are green and black. I was thinking about doing this before, but now I just might take the plunge.
And is there anywhere to buy old kits? I liked the ones from last year but they're not listed on the site anymore.

The FanShop should still have them. Or let me contact my friend and see what I can do.

Well, no rush on that. I'll probably only be able to afford one '60 kit this year. So, it'll be the away Cooper one. I appreciate the offer though.
I did like all three of last years. Even the yellow and green one.

So....of course one of my buds on the 1860 German board had to post this....
You know, the first time he gets injured someone is going to stand up and yell, "They killed Kenny!"....

I bought that one when I visited Gruenwalder Str earlier this year. I love that shirt.

Since no one has answered this yet: Yes, Kenny Cooper is a LOT better than Josh Wolff.

LOL....yup. And looking forward to seeing him play for 1860.
Of course, the German boards have called the deal "not done" since he has to undergo the medical and sign his contract. Got to love their efficiency. :D

Garry - Which 1860 boards do you usually frequent? Knowing my German is remedial, I would still like to see what's what and maybe work on my German a bit.
Vielen dank!

I am arguing with them now because they are SOOOO conservative they are still not calling this a done deal because he has not passed his medical or signed his contract. This from the same lot who swore Messiah woudl sign for us and what happened, they guy got signed in our own training camp by one of the teams were had a friendly against!!!

I knew that just from what my friends told me. But we still appreciated Josh's hustle.
