Yu. I would do it too. At least now I know, for a fact, there is one English speaker with Sechzig! I hope I can get back over there to see him at Grunwalderstr. on the training pitch!
Whoa bro! Slow down! It's not done yet! :D

According to this "Bild" article (http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussball/zweite-liga/2009/07/31/1860-muenchen/loewen-holen-us-rakete.html), 1860 are in talks to bring the player pictured below to 1860. Yes, that is none other than FC Dallas' KENNY COOPER!!!
I have been told that I cannot either confirm or deny these reports.:D But I will tell you that my belly button has been puckering and unpuckering for the last few days.
Seltzer is weighing in with another quote
http://soccer365.com/americans_abroad/story_31709130018.php
According to his agent, the U.S. international could be a Lions player within a matter of days. "We have an agreement in place for Kenny to join 1860 Munich," Lyle Yorks confirmed to Soccer365. "We look to complete the deal early next week."
Again, I can neither confirm or deny this is true.....but I will be going to the farewell match, er, ah, FC Dallas home game against Kansas City tomorrow night.
On Kenny Cooper... You never know... He could turn out to be a life-long Sechziger!
Should he sign I would expect him to play out his contract and get picked up by another club. HOWEVER, I think first and foremost is that he succeed where he goes.
A guy with his speed coupled with Lauth? Opps, I think I just had a soccer orgasm.

What IS the status of his contract? And, you know I am going to ask... any chance 1860 can hit him up with an extension sooner rather than later if he comes over?
I am not saying Kenny Cooper, alone, will get 1860 to promotion... but it sure as hell does not hurt matters!

I do not know the details other than it runs through 2011...which means they need to extend with him by next summer or he leaves. However, in conversations I have had with some who work around Gaising mgmt wants extend with him and he wants to stay with 1860 BUT he really wants promotion.
If he continues to play well and stay healthy AND we do not get promoted or even get close to it, I think he leaves. He might sign a one year extension but that is about it. All will depend on him. If he has another season like last season and 1860 has a mediocre season I think Benny leaves. However, I think if 1860 gets promoted or is close to it, I think he extends. We shall see.

I think it will be like BUTTA. They should do well if they play attacking ball. Concerns still remain in defense, but midfield SHOULD be solid. Attack and finishing other than Lauth a question mark.
I have conference calls today but some how I just don't think my attention will be 100%. :D

Any chance 1860 offers the match afterwards on Loewen TV?

We've got to give Stevic some freakin' credit and praise here!
I know most here will probably think nothing of this move because Cooper is American, but again, if Garry and Eddie are right, Munich fans might be singing an American name later this season. :D

Dunno, they have in the past but usually the later rounds.

Well as an 1860 supporter you have to like that. As a player, you only want to see your club succeed. An effective Kenny Cooper likely means an effective Benny Lauth and the midfield is doing its job.
Again, Cooper alone, if this move happens, will not get 1860 to promotion. But it sure as hell helps.

I'm that way, but I also love Facebook.
I've found some old high school friends I thought I'd never hear from again.
Some old friends I met here in Europe too.
You may not talk or chat "all the time", but you know how to reach out and touch them now.
