According to this "Bild" article (http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussball/zweite-liga/2009/07/31/1860-muenchen/loewen-holen-us-rakete.html), 1860 are in talks to bring the player pictured below to 1860.

However, I see where some at Transfermarkt.de is trying to call this old news and they say 1860's offer was already rejected by MLS.

I think starting at the 2. Liga level here would be good for him too. Establish a rep there first.
I've never been able to watch him much except for on downloads. I hope he does join 1860.
I won't lie, I would LOVE to have another American to cheer for here.

That's because there aren't any matches that would be "early morning" there today.
All of the Friday matches start at 8:30 PM CET/2:30PM EST.

I would love to see that because I think that would involve an 1860 promotion and staying up too.
However, I also think if he is as good as Garry and Eddie think he can be or becomes as good as Garry and Eddie think he can be, a bigger club will snap him up quickly. :(
But hey, let's see if the deal to bring him to Munich even gets done first.

Having seen him play numerous times, he reminds me of a poor man's Mario Gomez. Not in quality, obviously, but in basic attributes as a positional player. He is a taller, yet still highly active striker. He is a hard worker and will be a HUGE asset for 1860 if this comes through. My only concern is how much he will play.
Is it safe to say Kenny would automatically pair up front with Benny?
