I am assuming you can "save target as" and download the matches and whatnot for saving to an iPod for future watching....?
Vid capture. Save as I think blocks the stream. but you can try again.

Hmmm... Vid capture seems like a lot of technical stuff. I will mess with "save target as" and see what happens. I am just happy I went through with it.
Say, any threads on the message boards linked to Sechzig's site have English-speakers? Just wondering. Again, my German is serviceable if I am hungry, need a Bier, or something like that. Otherwise, I am a bit lost. Bayerische? Well that is another story.

Stating the obvious here, I know, but watching a number of the highlights from last term, it amazes me how hard Benny Lauth works off the ball. He is solid with the ball, sure. But he just works hard. Hands down, probably my favorite player right now...
Bierofka is in the mix as well, but kid can never stay healthy enough for me to find out.

Wait 'till you see Schaefler work off the ball. You will see why I think he is better than critics give him credit for (not talking about footy either). :D

Not to get off point here, but Miro Klose has made a living off doing that very thing the past year and a half. Unlike Luca Toni, he is tireless from the wings and all the way in.
Having seen some 1860 action from last term, I liked the way Lauth and Schaefler worked together. Although, by your estimation, he may not even start regularly.

They played a polish club in Austira today and lost, though clearly Lienen was playing with line-ups, not looking to gel a particular line-up. I think you will see where players will be lining up by looking at where they were subbed. It also looks like he is mixing potential starters and subs by the look of things. If you look at the starting back line only Felhi is over 25, all the others are under 21....some still 19.
1860 München - Lech Posen 0:1 (0:1)
1860: 12 Tschauner- 21 Kaiser, 5 Felhi, 28 Wittek, 13 Jungwirth - 8 Ignjovski, 10 Rösler - 15 Aigner, 17 Pappas - 11 Lauth, 31 Djokaj.
Bench: 1 Kiraly (Tor) - 4 Hoffmann, 9 Di Salvo, 14 Holebas, 16 Mansiz, 18 Ludwig, 20 Camdal, 22 Bender 26 Mlapa, 27 Schäffler, 29 Lushtaku, 30 Manga.
Subs: Hofmann für Felhi (46.), Bender für Ignjovski (46.), Camdal für Rösler (46.), Di Salvo für Aigner (46.), Ludwig für Pappas (46.), Schäffler für Lauth (46.), Lushtaku für Djokaj (46.). Holebas für Jungwirth (46.).

Got to agree with that.

Bierofka is far from a "kid" by football standards man. He's 30 and will turn 31 during the upcoming season.
This latest operation puts him out for at least two months.
But unlike some others I can name, Biero isn't whining about his injuries.
He keeps fighting.

You might not have been talking about me, but I see things in the stadium you don't see on Loewen TV.
As I told you last season, Schaeffler reminds me a lot of Nelson Valdez. He's got all the tools, works his ass off, but seems to be dumb as a brick when it comes to actual match intelligence and awareness.
That doesn't come to everyone over time. I hope he gets them though.
Until then, I am still of the opinion that you can "work your ass off off the ball all you like". If you work isn't effective and you're almost never in the right place at the right time, you're still useless.

There is no question, having an "in-tune" Schaeffler and an "in-form" Lauth makes for a much more formidable Sechzig club. That said, and we saw this last year, Lauth cannot do it all himself. He most definitely needs some help whether from his strike partner or from midfield.

Well, they have enough offensive players now.
I'm hoping Lienen will do some special work with Schaeffler to get the kid add thought to his game and not just run around like a chicken with his head cut off out there.

It's called "creating space". We have had this argument before; one man's tactical off the ball runs is another man's useless positioning.

Yes. Of course. And the results speak for themselves.

Not sure how you can measure the success of off-the-ball activity in a quantitative fashion other. It is about as subjective as it gets. I am not one for specious reasoning so I am not going to tell you definatively that he creates stuff beyond a shadow of a doubt. All I will say is that, by my estimation, he does affect play with his movements.
We all know you think he's a Valdez wanna be and we all know how you feel about Valdez. I just don't agree he's a waste of space.
Am done this this topic. We just don't see eye to eye on this. Or women. Or bier. :D

He reminds me of Valdez NOW, CURRENTLY, AT THE MOMENT!!!!
I never said he couldn't get better.
What part of that do you not understand??!
I also did not call him a "waste of space". Those are your words.
I talked about what I saw him do last season and it was not good.
I never said he doesn't have the tools. I've always said he has the tools. He just doesn't know what to do with them yet.
I guess you missed the part where I said I hope Lienen will do the work with Schaeffler to add some intelligence to his game.
But of course, you probably took my comment as an insult.
If Lienen works with Schaeffler successfully on working himself into the flow of the match in a better, smarter way, I think Sechzig has a potential Miro Klose.
Klose was the exact opposite of Schaeffler coming up. Klose had the intelligence/match awareness, but had to put in the physical work. Which he did.
Schaeffler has all the physical talents, but needs to learn to be smarter with them.
Which I hope he will........

We don't at the moment. However, we can work on the women and the bier! LOL!!

I think we need pictures of pretty German women and discussions on German Bier.
Discuss.

I guess I'm spoiled. I'm tired of that shit.
It seems that's the only beer most Americans around here know.
When I go to parties here, I take a cooler full of Paulaner, H-P and a couple of national brands because all they have is damned Augustiner Helles! LOL!! ;)
I meet the Germans at the pub. LOL!!
Well, Augustiner Edelstoff is my fave of the Munich beers - especially vom Fass in München. :D
Also, it's not readily available in the US, like the other five breweries export Bier. This may seem a sacrelige, but I actually prefer Steigl over here to the German export stuff.

As a quick aside, the new Sierra Nevada Kellerweiss is not bad, in fact quite good for a domestic offering.
Augustiner... My favorite Munich brewery hands down.
