Okay. Great win at home for ES... Now it's time to get some points away from home...

Zelaya is out for the game so i think Castillo has show up unlike the mex game. He was well cover so there wasn't much for him to do. There's some holes in the defense but will need to do better job to cover.

Arriba LA SELECTA...

They had the CR vs T&T game on ppv last time. So they should have this game on ppv?

Great game by Salazar. He along with Quintailla and Montes were probably our best players tonight. Escobar played well, but he made a few really bad mistakes, one of which cost us the goal.

Up front, Rudis didn't do much at all. From the few minutes that Reyes had, he seemed to do more.

Also, Castillo again had a bad game. Although he did seem to not like the options that our other players were giving him, so maybe that had something to do with it. One things for sure though, and that's that in these last two games he was certainly not been even half the player he was v the USA.

Martinez was also keeped quite tonight. Credit to Honduras as they did really well to hold down the wings.

Overall it's dissapointing as we had the majority of the possession and played much of the game in Honduras' half.

Hopefully we can recoup and get things right against Trinidad in August. That, IMO will be a crutial game if we want to have any chance of qualifying.

Honduras had a few missed chances, so did ES. The Honduran commentators were saying ES is going to be a very good team 4 years from now.

On another note, i find it funny that other teams try and put down our guys for wasting time at home; but when they do it, they say nothing

It's all part of the game; if you're up then you're naturally going to take those extra few seconds to get up. Honduras proved today that we are not the only ones that do it

You are right el_cuscatleco they were getting me angry with those last minute subs. And then the goalie acts like he hurt himself. That defense holds on to Reyes shorts and acts hurt.

In the first half I didn't see the first 10 minutes but our defense had their hands full. Every time we tried to head towards their Palacios would foul Cheyo or whomever had the ball. In the first half that was the only way they stopped us. I didn't see much from Nunez (Salazar completely eliminated him), or their other mids, I don't know if the mid had a bad game or they are just not as good as they seem or are mid is better.

Our team played a lot better than Honduras they completely let us play our game the second half and they waited for a counter attack.

Also, why didn't Romero play?

Rudis needs to be benched, or atleast have another partner. Everytime he is alone he does nothing. Williams did a little better with 10 minutes of play. If fito was in we most likely would have won, that's what hurts the most.
