Is this a serious question? I don't think you can put Kljestan and vision in the same story, let alone the same thought.

It's not an either/or question. Or, it shouldn't be.
Dempsey should not be an automatic lock. Kljestan is a better fit as a RM and should be in contention there. Benny is a better central midfielder - if and when he gets PT.
But this is BS, where douchebags must rail on one player to elevate another.

This must be a joke..... Benny without question.
Did the mods outlaw the use of "fanboy"?

It would be a lot more fair to post this up at some other time than tonight, but measuring their field vision and creativity is and always has been a runaway victory for Feilhaber. It's for a lot of other reasons (like not imploding under the weight of his own head) that Kljestan managed to work his way onto the team while Feilhaber's career stalled and then took a nosedive with a bad injury.
And Kljestan's a better dribbler, and a better guy to put on the wing in a pinch. But neither would be my first choice out there in any case.

Benny clearly has a higher ceiling than Sascha, however, he has also been more inconsistent with club play.
In form Benny is miles ahead though, and an in form Sascha isn't something to write home about.

They're different players in terms of skill set though the Bobbito for some reason wants Kljestan to be a deep-lying center mid.
At club level Kljestan spends the bulk of his time at wide-mid or withdrawn forward. Feilhaber is a central midfielder.
Kljestan is more similar to Clint Dempsey though not on the Deuce's level of course.
The non-defensive central mids in the US pool, that is players who start for their clubs in such a position, are:
Stuart Holden
Eddie Gaven
Benny Feilhaber
Michael Bradley
JF Torres
Of this group Michael Bradley is most different from the others in that he isn't attacking/creative mid specialist.

I won't vote in this poll because it is the wrong comparison.
Kljestan is being shifted to the backup outside mid role and is currently no higher than maybe 7th on the list of CM's.
The REAL comparison, if you care to make one, is between Feilhaber and Torres. They both play the skilled/creative CM role. They both have plusses and minusses to their games, but based on the two matches this week, Feilhaber has pushed himself back ahead of Torres. Both have solid touch and passing skills, but Feilhaber's defensive effort last night was far stronger than Torres' sloppy defending on Wednesday.
BB will take either 4 or 5 CM's to the World Cup. Based on his recent favoring of CM's, it seems likely that he'll take 5. The leading candidates for those 5 spots are: Bradley, Edu, Feilhaber, Clark, Torres, and Mastro. Mastro misses the squad based on the games this week. Torres misses the World Cup if BB only takes 4 CM's. Kljestan is 7th at CM and is actually battling for an outside midfield spot, not a CM spot.

Kljestan is being shifted to the backup outside mid role ...
I hope this is true because he can't compete with Bradley, Feilhaber or Torres in the BtB spot

And you know this, how . . ? I mean I certainly hopes its true, but when has there been any indication of this?
After Clark's performance, I love the depth at central midfield. Any combination of Bradley, Torres, Clark, Edu, and Feilhaber would make me happy. That doesn't even include someone like Szetela or Holden who could get into the conversation soon.

I would love to know who the 2 out of 77 that voted for Sacha are. It would be interesting to hear their thoughts?

I voted #3 for Sacha because I like them both.
Why destroy one player to build up another? Sacha will find his form again and will once again be a useful player, and Benny will hopefully continue to start for Aarhus receive national team opportunities.

"Destroy?" Harsh word, especially where people are just comparing. They have different skill sets, simple as that.
