So when Hejduk and Dolo get healthy again, we'll have 3 very capable RBs when you include Spector. Who gets the starting position at RB?

I think it should go to Dolo and Boca moves to LB, Spector moves into CB. Hejduk the backup for either LB or RB.

You have to like Dude for his never say die attitude and his motor...but are you serious? Did we watch the same game?

Spector, hands down, is our RB when Cherundelo cannot go.

Spector is our best option at either position - LB/RB. Heydude does not have near the quality of Spector. But, since he is versatile we could play him at LB.

Spector--------Boca-------Gooch--------Dolo

How did Spector not start against CR??

Hejduk for as long as he can at RB in "crucible" games, Spector at LB (or RB in games that aren't all about guts), the flavor-of-the-month at LB if Spector's not in there, and the same CBs as we've had, except in certain situations.

Cherundolo's got to earn his way back. He was looking very poor for a couple of months before his injury, and my gut says that he's done.

I love Spector tonight but unfortunately he has always had health issues. Lets just hope he can stay healthy from here on out and play like we saw tonight. Too early to pencil him in for the next 5 years.

Hannover was trying to purchase another RB during the last transfer window. I believe they are thinking the same thing as you. :(

NEVER CHERLUNDOLO AGAIN!!!!!

The set piece aerial game is too important an aspect of modern football. He simply doesn't measrue up, no pun intended.

You have not heard the last of Simek either. A very good defensive player, who like Spector, has had health issues.

I think we move Hejduk out left, he's adept with both feet imo and Spector has looked uncomfortable on the left, regardless of his Charlton days.

This is one of those good problems to have.

1)Dolo
2)Spector
3)Heydude
4)Simek

Spector can easily take Dolo's job by 2010. Simek, with a good performance in the Gold Cup, can move up above Heydude.

Injury prone. Green carpet over concrete for their "field"

Looks like we have some flexibility with both Spector and Hejduk

I like

Hejduk----Boca---Gooch----Spector

If Hejduk gets hurt, put Spector over there and slide in Dolo. Or put in Bornstein. Spector can play Center, too, right?

How many defenders are normally on a WC roster? If 8, then put in the 6 previously mentioned, plus 2 more Centers. Edu can also give cover on the back if necessary, so maybe 7.

If Hejduk is starting at outside back in 2010, I will cry tears of sadness.

Today, assuming full health, it's Cherundolo with Spector a close second. I think Spector will claim the spot by next summer.
