Hello everyone. Without a doubt, and SUPRISINGLY SO, Freddy was incredibly skilled with the ball and had very good touches. He made a really nice long(ish) pass to Donovan in between a couple of players. Now, I know his bum of a coach never plays him on his club team, but Freddy needs to be playing tonight. He had better passing and touch on the ball against Costa Rica than any other US player, including Donovan who looked lost a bit.
I hadn't posted in awhile, but wanted to make sure my 2 cents were given and to see what ya'all thought about it. I thought to myself that night watching the game in agony that "wow, Freddy is the only thing good going on right now!"
I don't think I was wrong either because my somewhat soccer proficient wife (she's getting better trained each year) even commented that Adu seemed to be the only guy who could get a pass through. She didn't think much of Klejstan who looked horrible and not at this level the way he played.
Anyway, I hope we have a much better result tonight!! GO USA!!
