I lost to the 7th place team 4-3 on an 85th minute goal. Grrrrrrrrr.
That's the last time I PIC and try out a new formation while playing away. What sucks is that I pulled a wretched mf today, after having a solid one last week......
In other action in my series, the expected winners all won, including AC Venemous Butterflies who pushed me out, via goal differential, of my temporary perch in 4th place. I predicted a 5th place finish this season anyway, but losing in such a crappy manner is very galling.

I got nervous in my match against #5. Twice the lead was tied till I pulled away and won 6-2 at home. Sellout crowd is helping me pay my arena expansion of 10k. Hope with my continued success, it pays itself off quickly.
Maybe someone will byte on my youth pull and give me a nice bonus this week.

I drew 1-1 away and I MOTS'ed for the first time this season.
My TS is now furious. The team I played was second last season but had lost 3 straight. I tried to take advantage and put him in the hole but wasn't good enough to win :(

I won, but suffered injuries to 3 starters, one of which is a 3-weeker. Fortunately he is 18. He better heal quick. According to Buddy, he should pop next week, if he heals. Unlike last week when I had some early scares, this one was in the bag early.
I was sure the Tommies would pull out the win, too. It's my fault Mark. I wasn't able to watch the games tonight. I only saw a few minutes at the end of the first half.

Not a good week for me, I lost 7-3 to the second place team at home. I had gone ahead 2-1, then just fell apart, my striker did get a hattrick though, and leads the series in scoring. Thought I might pull out a miracle when I saw all the scoring in my game in the 89th minute, but it turned out 2 were for him and only 1 for me. I thought I could win this game, I had the better team I thought, and a better midfield, but my defense did me in, I'm probably gonna go splurge on the transfer list soon, tryto bluck up the defense, althought I've made one move already. Next week I have the third place team at his place, I need a result pretty bad to stay with the top three, so I am MOTS the game. The other match, is 1 vs. 2 so that should be a pretty good match.

Aaaah that's it. My "supporters" deserted me!! No wonder we could only draw.

I didn't desert you, but 1) I'm not a supporter of yours yet anyways 2) I was too busy with my team falling apart on me. So I was a little distracted with that problem.

I won a big home match against the #1 club in II.3, Siena AC. He hadn't lost in something obscene like 13 matches. Oddly enough, his last defeat was when he visited my stadium last season.
The 2-0 result was a nailbiter there for awhile since I kept missing scoring chances (3 misses I think). I got my 4th Divine midfield rating of all time, and set a personal record with a 129 Hatstats rating (old record was 123). I've also gone 560 league/cup minutes (6 games, 20 minutes) without conceding a goal. I'm currently tied for 2nd place in the series with 10 points (3-0-0 after a horrid 0-1-2 start).
I don't expect to win my cup match on Wednesday, so my defence streak is sure to end (as is my 6 game win streak). I don't expect to win my league match next Sunday either. I sacrificed a lot to make damn sure I got all 6 points out of my 2 game homestand in league play.

BBFC cruised to a 7 - 0 win that saw no injuries and only one card, and that to a useful but nonessential winger. Our opponent is obviously not one for scouting, as they tried to use AIM on me. My defense is pretty balanced (so it doesn't focus attacks on a weak point), which is a minor point against, and my team's strength is wing attacks (so the wing defense hit is a killer), which is a major point against. I'm not complaining though... that team has gone down the tubes this season, they used to give me fits.
The big win puts Brays back in the series lead on goal differential. We drew with the #2 at home, but we've got four gimmes leading up to the return match. Meanwhile, they're facing a home-and-home with the #3. Personally, I'm hoping for two draws to give me some distance on both. The schedule definitely favors me, as I can MOTS all four matches against those teams while they each can only realistically MOTS one of the two against each other effectively.
