KO... it sounds fast and frantic according to the Palace announcers. No Carrick today.

17 minutes in, 0-0.
Repka with another hard foul. Not sure he is going to make the full 90.

30 minutes in, the only notable thing so far are the amount of nasty challenges. Tackles are flying in fast and furious. Connolly just earned a caution.

Connolly is gone. Second yellow for a reckless challenge. Yet he refuses to go. This cannot be good. Sounds like all heck has broken loose. Of course, the overwhelming point is now we are a man down. Still, 8 minutes left in the first half.

God we suck.
Harewood and Dailly both break though within 60 seconds of each other and both shank the ball into never never land.
Why did I start following West Ham ? Hell, didn't I have enough pain in my life being a Red Sox fan? I guess not.
Harewood is going after Dowie at halftime!
Stewards involved... so is a cop... will have to wait until the start of the second half to get this all sorted out.

Palace 1, West Ham 0
Goal by Freedman, header into the top of the net off a corner. Say buh-bye to the Premiership.
Zamora on for McAnuff.

Deane on for Reo-Coker.
Deane, Zamora and Harewood up front. Move to three in the back. Dailly, Ferdinand and Repka.
Still, 1-0, Palace.

ITS A DONNYBROOKE!!
All the players pile in and it is going to take a while to sort things out.
Zamora earns a yellow. I bet there will be an FA inquiry into this match afterwards.

We currently sit in 8th place.
__
The only reason I can think of Lomas being in the starting 11 is so that he can be shopped around if he is not availble on a free transfer over the summer. Not the best reason but the only one I can think of at the moment.
Or he has pictures of Pardew having sex with a drug snorting goat and a bellydancer much like ABMOD has on Bruce Arena.
