Hi all, i just purchased a pair of adidas world cups, the quality of the stitching is absolutely spot on and they are really light weight, but one thing about them is strange, the sole plate plastic is like an almost luminous looking green whilst the ones in our shopping center are white. some on the ones ive seen advertised also look a yellow/green colour in the website photos so i dont think they are fake but im intrigued by the colour. do any of you guys have any info on this or know why there should be any variation in the colour .

ps im from the uk so the word colour is spelt correctly ;)

Sometimes when you play on grass the sole can go green, but they don't look used at all.

that's usually just age discolouration.. they might be old therefore the plastic has gone a bit offcolor.. happens to alot of plastic things..

At the inside of the tongue there should be a label with the size and some other things on it. It also has the month/year of production on it (i.e. "10/03", for October 2003). What does the label say on your boots? If you have somewhat older boots the label is stitched to the the inside of the boot itself (and not on the tongue).

well thats that sorted, they're 3 yrs old so its prolly just the plastic discoloration, although i daughter prefers the sole plate in green

although its strange her predator rapier cup's havent done the same
