Biggest point totals in your leagues history

Which teams have ended the season with most points in the history of your leagues? At least since the inception of the 3 point rule and with today’s number of teams in the league. And if you can find some other great teams from the past when the system was different maybe we can compare the percentage of all available points they won.

Bayern München hat 77 Points in 1999 (34 games).

78 actually. And in both the 1971/72 and 1972/73 season Bayern München had 79 points (3-points-rule) in 34 games, which is iirc the record.

Werder could break the record this year, that is just amazing when you look at their budget. They’ve been playing like a team possessed . I remember when they got the winner at Gladbach with 10 men in the final minutes and then ran onto the fence to celebrate with their fans, they looked incredibly determined.

Yeah, they are great this year. But i highly doubt that they can break this record, given their current form. I predict that they will win 3 games, lose 1 and draw 2. But i wouldn't mind if they would proove me wrong, they would deserve the record.
