How about we worry about Honduras first?

We need to beat Honduras on Saturday.

We will have a new coach when we play CR again, if we don't win this weekend.

I'm going to worry about Honduras first. However the performance last night was galling. That can not happen any more.

Didn't we say that after the ES disaster?

I think we made us look horrible. The entire team should engage in some serious self-mutilation. And Bradley should commit harakiri.

Huh,I at first thought the OP was suggesting punching the coaching staff, which seems counterproductive.

I just mean psychologically emotionally we must cleanse and purify our nation after this debacle. We have no choice but to completely dominate them like they did us next our teams meet.

Nation: "What, there was a game last night?"

They might already be qualified come our next game and send in B team, so it is quite possible.

Their offense display coupled with our defensive display did make us look like clowns. Two point on that:

1. I understand how the field affect our offense, possession and ball control, but if anything it should help our defense because their off the ball play should not be affected and the poor field does take a little way from Costa Rica's ball control (though not nearly to the degree it affects ours)

2. Watching Costa Rica attack was a think of beauty. I think they are the best in the region as an offensive unit, unit being the key word. Their players both see and execute very incisive attacking combination plays, throw the defense off balance with fakes, feints, and switches, and show incredible composure under pressure with the ball at their feet in the attacking third. More so than the US and Mex, they CREATE their goals.

1) None of this really qualifies as analysis, and

2) We usually do.

How about we cross the bridge when we get to it?

I'm focused on getting a point against a very underrated Honduras team.
