I'm going to this game on Monday at the Lane. Must be a sucker for punishment!!
I'll be in West Upper, sobbing if the team plays rubbish and sticking pins in my David Pleat voodoo doll.

Need a reaction from the players after last night's rubbish.

On the whole.. a positive step.
Probably shaded the 2nd half, but always looked weak and nervous at the back. Defoe played like his life depended on it.
Shame Blackburn won though :( Cracking game.

it's a sad day when we consider a home draw at the end of the season against a mediocre team a "positive step".

The teams current league position and dreadful form over the past month has pretty much killed off any chance we have of getting someone like Van Bommel or Mourinho/Mancini as coach. We're only a hairs breadth above the relegation strugglers and that is attractive to no-one. At least hanging around the top 10 and a good run outside of Europe had potential and appeal, but where we are now is awful. Pleat and the pathetic Doherty have not only ****ed this season, but could also have ****ed our future.
The only hope is that the team pulls a miracle and wins enough games to get us back into the top half, but I think the damage has been done and that idiot Pleat is already making excuses.

this is a pretty sad result... there seem to be a lot of things wrong... with no positive progress being made on any of them... :(

I just don't get it, how come everyone here sees our problems (Dmid, Central Defender, Left Back, and Left midfield, in that order), but the Spurs Front Office acts like they're completely set in those spots. Goodness, they tried to bring in Convey for left midfield, OK, that was a good move, but it didn't work out. They brought in Konchesky for left back, OK, that was a decent move, but they never played him in that position. Why not? They certainly had no qualms playing a midfielder (Jackson) as left back. But why ignore the spine of the team? If there's one thing that'll expose a weak central defense, it's having no freakin Dmid!
Pastry puff! They spend so much time putting more whipped cream on the desert that they forgot to put the freakin meat in the oven! No main course! The fans are hungry! And no, we will not eat cake! (or KAKe).

The Double reclaims his 'Greatest Post Ever' crown. Well done Double!
When I went to see us play against Liverpool at the Lane, whenever Doherty got the ball in defence the crowd would stand up. Everyone was crapping themselves, cries of 'get rid of it, you sack of sh t' were being hurled from all around me.
Doherty, Richards. You are not good enough. Do not pass go. Do not collect any money. Go to Sunderland.

Sorry this is delayed, but this was my first visit to the Lane, and although I am not a THFC supporter at the time, I loved it. Edxcellent etmosphere, sitelines, everything. I really got into it. Got some pics too, but this was my favorite of the 3 stadiums I went to.

thanks. most tow-the-ignorant-line football fans will tell you WHL has a terrible atmosphere, usually havinf never been there but it's actually one of the best in the premier league. it's very attractive too, it just needs to get bigger. glad you enjoyed it despite the quality of the game :o

Well now's the perfect time to jump on the Spurs bandwagon, we have a ton of Irish players, we may be getting Martin O'Neill (well we can hope at least :D ), and absolutely nobody will accuse you of being a glory-hunter.
Hey, you don't currently have an EPL team, you now have a connection to savor (having seen Spurs in person), and Spurs have some nice BigSoccer posters to chat with. OK, that's enough of my shameless plugs for Spurs. Welcome aboard, support who you like (and it's fine if its not Spurs), and keep posting here, even if you join the masses and jump on Arsenal's coattails.
