I was doing a game today and a situation came up that i know should be a simple restart but something inside of me kept questioning my decision. An attacker was dribbling down the field toward the opponents goal. He was fouled just outside the penalty area, but continued to maintain control of the ball. I applied advantage, but then there was a hard foul against him inside the PA which knocked him off the ball. I called a PK. Should I have gone back to the original foul and had a DFK just outside the penalty area? Any help is much appreciated.

you made the right call. You cant penalise the attacker by giving an DFK outside the area when an offense has been committed in the area.

No. You recognized a foul, gave advantage. Player makes it into penalty area, advantage realized. He;s fouled again, this time inside the penalty area. award a pk. good job
