I had been having the same problem. Change the access url in settings to .158. That will fix the problem. Some of the servers are offline or something.

They changed up how we're supposed to pick the server to access (although Buddy has never done it right). One of the reasons they did that was because they anticipated moving servers around and suchlike. When they made one of the anticipated moves, it happened to be the IP that Buddy defaults to.

Hopefully, the next version of Buddy will use the appropriate method for picking the server for login.

+ League Details: New Function to view All Star and Worst Star Teams for each League Round
+ The transfers of your players are now downloaded automatically when you buy or sell a
player. If a sold player is sold again by another team you have to refresh the transfer
information manually by clicking on refresh in the Player Info Dialog.
+ Player Info: Transfers and Nominations in the All Star Teams are now shown here
+ Player -> Transfers: Statistics about Buys and Sells as well as Profits when you sell
a bought player again
+ Automatic IP Detection: The Hattrick IP is now automatically determined by Hattrick
according to the newest CHPP rules. Therefore the option to set it manually is gone
+ Transfers can now be uploaded to the Transfer Price Evaluation Database anonymyzed.
This can be switched off in the settings.
o The calculation of the stamina value to determine a player value has changed. If a player
already has excellent or better stamina, the a-skill value will instead be taken for
calculation. This leeds to better results.
o In the position calculation the value "Set Pieces" is no longer available for Forwards,
since it is not really necessary for a good performance.
o In the position calculation the value "Scoring" for Set Pieces Shooters is removed,
since Scoring is valuable for distance goals, but not really for Set Pieces itself.
o After League Gemas it is not necessary anymore to check "Current Matches" in the
Download menu, since they are automatically dowloaded when you download the current
League Fixtures. The option now is only necessary to download friendly and cup games.
o Player Stats: New Entry "Price Bought". It shows the amount of money you paid for your
current squad.

- Some poeple were not able to start Buddy anymore. This should be solved now I hope.
- Improved error handling of "Settings.xml" file.
- A lot more Bugfixes (I'm Sorry, but I lost the list somehow)
