-Each BMLS team is associated with an NFL team
-a BMLS team scores a goal whem their corresponding NFL team scores a touchdown (offense, defense, speical teams... doesn't matter)
-BMLS will have a 16 game regular season, exactly the same as the NFL's
-top 12 BMLS teams make the playoffs and assocciated with the 12 NFL teams in their playoffs
-playoff teams will be placed with the best nfl playoff teams (first by records, then by point/goal differentials)
-each successive round of the playoffs will make sure that the top surviving bmls teams are with the top remaining nfl teams

there is also an effort currently going on to name/rename the teams... you might want to check into this

if i missed anything or you would like something changed, throw it in here and we will debate it and come out with a version 1.1 if needed/wanted

I was thinking ... how about you determine the 32 BMLS cities without any concern for the NFL cities that currently exist.

And then you randomly have a drawing where each BMLS team gets an NFL team.

And after that, we have a strict pact where we never refer to the NFL. We don't want to destroy the fantasy. ;)

And, also, maybe it wouldn't be so bad if we included the current MLS teams with their real names, just to give the whole BMLS a more realistic fantasy feel. :)

Also, the number of touchdowns scored in each game can be found on NFL.com. You just click on one of the games in the Schedule section, and a game summary appears which lists the number of touchdowns scored.

Are you in charge of a breakaway BMLS league? Or are you just trying to take over the commissionership from the founder of the league?

Just wondering.

jmeissen, are you taking over from detroitexpress now that he has apparently stepped down? I would like to try to convince him to come back.

apparently... bright and i have been discussing how to do things via pm

i was seriously just offering constructive criticism and got p.o.-ed when detroitexpress seemed to take it personally

it was a good idea and people were throwing more good ideas in

i'll try and have something up later in the day

... or, to make things a little more off-base... make it all the td's scored in the 1st 2 hrs. of play... 3 quarters of td's...

God don't make me have to watch the Cowboys the entire season...

good luck
