Unbelivable - although it must be said it's only half-time.
Deportivo 3-0 Milan

I'm following along too, and..........wow. What a crazy week.

Although the whole talk of "what an amazing upset by Chelsea" is getting annoying; we were even after one leg! Monaco's comeback on the other hand - that's an upset.

Wow. With ten minutes left its now:

Deportivo 4-0 Milan

This, far more than the Real game is a true stunner.

Its over. I feel bad for Milan fans, honestly. Such a great season, marred by such an uncharacteristic performance. Just unbelievable.

4 leagues represented in the final 4, although I don't think ANYONE expected the 4 teams to make it. What a year!

I was just looking around sites for that info - i kind of thought we'd be installed as favorites to win it now.

Holy smokes this is crazy.

AC Milan

Arsenal (who despite history had been in fantastic form)

All the same week.

Wow.

Total shocker. I was looking forward to playing Real Madrid in the semi and then AC Milan in the final. Ho-Hum. We have to stay focused here, but I think we have a real good chance of winning the CL. Especially, with players like Veron and Crespo ready to come into the side, having “rested” for most of the season. I never would have thought we would have been favourites at this stage of the competition, but we are and that’s cool. I just can’t imagine how AC Milan lost this one 4-0. Un-fecking-believable At least with the Italian sides out, we are going to see more goals and entertainment in the latter stages of the competition this year :)

Many would say that there's still an Italian side in it yet ;)

Who'd have believed this a year ago! Hell, as of two days ago we were 5th out of 8.

Now we have to make sure to take care of Monaco. All this pressure doesn't help us in the slightest. Monaco is a good side.

Ranieri said last night that he really feared Monaco.
He said that he knew Real Madrid quite well from his time in Spain and if monaco could beat them, they could beat anybody.

It will certainly be a very tough game.

Interesting point by Monkee about Veron - does he deserve a start now that he's coming back to fitness?

Better yet - who will not get to play if he does?

Sorry, I guess you can’t really see the funny side of things at the moment

I truly am upset that there will be no Italian sides in the semis this year. However, the fact is they didn’t really give us a lot of goals last year did they? You would have to say there was a strong element of negativity in those games, no?

Monaco is a good side.

Ah, yes they’re all good sides to reach the semi’s, but I reckon we are getting better and peaking at the right time of the season. I think with the likes of Veron and Carlo coming back and Crespo, Mutu getting hungry on the sides. In fact all the players seem to be hitting some good form. Eidur is in form, Jimmy, even Gronks and Joe Cole I think can be relied on, and then there is the Duff-er, Terry, Bridge, Gallas, etc

My, we’re just a great Fecking team :D

I think Veron/Crespo is probably a double switch we will see against Boro or Villa if we are even or up a goal. Veron probably comes in for Duff, Parker or Geremi, and Crespo for Hasselbaink.

When was the last time Mutu got a game?

NONE DARE CALL IT CONSPIRACY.

I will probably start this as a separate thread, but isn't it amazing that out of the 18 clubs in the G14, only Porto has made it to the CL semi-finals. Someone at UEFA is smiling a big smile right now.

Now, thats funny.

I do support them on their stand about that silly world club thing though!
