I didn't think this happened to MLS players:
After the D.C. United game, Corrales was involved in a confrontation at a bar in D.C. and was hit in the back of the head with a beer bottle. (The perpetrator was arrested.) Corrales received about 30 stitches, and while he is expected to be ready Saturday, it's not a sure thing.
Okay! Which DC United fan is responsible??? :)

FYI - Wall Street Journal ran an article on Freddie's debut today (not available on-line). Decent article, although nothing earth-shattering. The article wondered if Freddie is really ready for this level.

I think posting those NY Times Magazine photos around here should be a cardable offense.

In the article about Columbus Crew stadium some of the stadium officials say the next amenity they want to see added is a roof over both sides or one side of the stadium, We can only hope! CCC would be rocking then, hopefully they could kill that canned music crap too :)
