Very disappointing result. FCN got a break on the first goal, then steadily outplayed FCE most of the rest of the way. Looks like the Big Clubs will not have to travel to the East next season. :(

Dude, FCN looked like the 1st Bundesliga team and Cottbus mostly looked like they should have been playing tomorrow evening...... :cool:
Indeed. After the interval, it was one of the worst performances I've seen from a home team in a decisive game (they didn't even fight)! FCN dominated them the same way we did a few weeks ago...
Kudos to the Nuremberg guys (let's not forget that they had to replace their CB's Wolf & Maroh) for their best away game since a very long time! From what I've seen this season, I didn't expect that ... but let's be honest, this Cottbus team was an absolute joke on Thursday (really weird, since everybody expected them to be mentally on top after the resurgance against Leverkusen).
I'm going to be in the area if there's a celebration on Sunday!!
But I need to be careful! If anyone can blow this, it is FCN!! ;)

But this time, they surely aren't silly enough to blow it.
Btw: Cottbus obviously can't even field a real striker today.

Returning leg just started (live at ARD).
Cottbus had a good start with Shao hitting the crossbar.
Lets see how Nurnberg reacts.

I was in Nürnberg on Sunday for the celebrations. A great time was had by all!
Well, except the few Cottbus fans who bothered to make the trip! LOL!!
