With the recent decision by MLS to eliminate OT, in an effort to align itself more with the world at large, it got me wondering...
All the major leagues that I know of simply play 90 minutes and let the result stand. (I am speaking of league play, not competitions).
However, I find it difficult to think that the MLS was the ONLY league to have any sort of time added onto an end of a game to determine a potential winner.
So my question is: What other leagues out there play beyond the 90 minutes in event of a tie, and what is their method in determining a winner (golden goal, silver goal, shoot-out, PKs, etc...)
Thanks!
