Copied from last thread:
No bother. The Press will wax lyrical about the beautiful football on display and the fact that United lost to the best attacking team in the world but they went down fighting. Some will even delude themselves into thinking that if C.Ronaldo finished some of his chances that the game may have been different. Either way United have 4 titles and its no shame losing in the CL to "a great attacking side". Fact being that Barca hit the post 2 times and dominated the midfield. Messi didn't play his best and managed to score and the Iniesta/Carrick matchup turned out to be a dud.
Some critics will talk about C.Ronaldo not showing up and how his mind isn't on United and how he'll be leaving next season. They'll talk about Ribery/Benzema/Aguero coming in and Fergie rebuilding the attack. Perhaps a new midfielder will come in to replace Hargreaves or a winger to replace Giggs (who's getting on ). United will not be criticized for how they approached the game but I will be eager to watch ITN and see Eamon's C.Ronaldo criticism.

Didn't watch it and I'm proud of it. It's a disgrace.

Didn't watch it either and I'm proud of it too. Don't blame others for watching it though, just couldn't bear to myself.

Sad sad day.
Only happy for Guardiola and Guddy. Guardiola outmanaged SAF.

United were awful. Simple as that. Their passing was poor, their finishing was poor (though they only had a few half-chances for the most part), their creativity was poor and the one tactic they had that was working - the long diagonal to Rooney - they stopped doing.
More than anything, their concentration at the back was criminal.

Happy for Guddy. United were rubbish, just bent over for Barca. We'd have smashed them tonight as well.

The guy behind the Man City purchase, is spearheading another Arab purchase. Portsmouth this time.

In the 60s I'm pretty sure, maybe 69?

I'm shocked and pleased. Well deserved and maybe it will open Roman and the board's eyes (yeah right).

I'd be very happy just to see Moyes get a shot at least.

Only thing better than a Chelsea win is a United loss. Oh joyous day.

I thought for sure they'd get it a couple weeks ago.
I've learned a lesson though in taking people out of context. :D
