Any Statistics People want to help make a ranking system?

Hi all.

We over at www.fifaconcacaf.com are planning to begin a Caribbean Club Ranking for the teams on the islands. What we need is a person who is good at statistics and such and can make a system by which to use it.

At the moment, we are planning on using the system found here: http://www.iffhs.de/main/englisch/clubweltrangliste/berechnung/

Thus, based on the league info we have:

Level 1:
Jamaica
Trinidad and Tobago

Level 2:
Haiti
Martinique
Barbados
Surinam

Level 3:
St. Kitts
Cayman Islands
Netherlands Antilles
Bermuda
Guadeloupe
French Guyana

I know that there are people here that enjoy doing this type of thing (I've seen it done w/ MLS squads), so contact me if you're interested.

I think that you are using a pretty-much discredited rating system. It simply awards teams that play the most games.

How come Cuba isn't ranked?

Yeah, that system is not ideal. Unfortunately, I'm not a math person that is really capable of creating my own; hence the request for help from someone in the Bigsoccer Community.

As far as Cuba not being ranked, it is simply because there is no conceivable way of getting weekly scores online, and I don't have any Cuban informants to get it from either. Obviously, it would be right up there in level 1.
