According to Kicker, SV Wehen-Wiesbaden goalkeeper Alexander Walke is moving to Hansa Rostock.

Walke's contract with SVWW was only good for the 2nd Bundesliga, so this should be a free transfer.

Kicker transfer tracker:

Problem is the tracker does not show all transfers unless you go by team.

For those that spricht kein Deutsch here's a litte guide to navigating this:

Zugänge: New to club
Abgänge: Leaving from club
Liga: League
Verein: Club
Auswählen: Select
I have to say I like the moves Lukhay is making at FCA. He has some real talent coming in and is going to make that team one to be reckoned with if they can stay healthy and add some depth.

Wait............Is Marin to Werder Bremen almost a done deal?

I think Freis n Podolski n Novakovic will form a very god strikeforce in Koln.

Wait............Is Marin to Werder Bremen almost a done deal?

No, Marin only stated in public, that he wants to join Werder. Now the clubs try to find a transfer fee, both can live with.

The only real new signing is Marcelo Moreno Martins from Shaktar Donezk (loaned with buying option). Kevin Schindler (Rostock), Carlos Alberto (Vasco da Gama) and Jhon Jairo Mosquera come back from loaning deals, Werder has a buying option for Junior Ross (FSV Frankfurt), and some young players from the reserve get a pro contract. Diego left to Juventus, Kruse to St.Pauli. Pizarros and Tziolis loaning deals expire. Frank Baumann ended his career.

I expect some more deals by us this summer.

Mosquera is very very average, n Schindler isn't much better. Carlos Alberto is an overrated, underachieved player with some bad disciplinary records.

Werder seriosuly need to bring in Marin. Any other team interested in him other than HSV and Werder Bremen? Florentina and Milan were big fans of his a while ago.

Werder should wind up getting Marin. But be warned. It seems you have an over-inflated view of the kid.

Marin still has developing to do. Werder is a place he can do this, but don't expect him to come in and make anyone forget Diego.

Gabor Kiraly to 1860.

Seems there may be a few more signings this month.

1. FC Koln midfielder Thomas Broich joins FCN.

It doesn't seem that long ago that this guy was listed among Germany's top midfield talents.

Now look at him.

Failed at Gladbach, failed at Koln and now trying FCN........

Nik Ledgerwood to FSV Frankfurt

According to the story linked here (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/news/28307/fsv-frankfurt-ledgerwood-kommt--ledesma-bleibt.html), Ledgerwood signed a one-year contract with an option for a second. I'm pretty sure the club holds that option.

FSV Team Chief Thomas Oral said: "Ledgerwood fits into our plans to make the team younger. He has all the tools to make his breakthrough here."

Of course, Ledgerwood joins FSV on a free transfer.

Simon Jentzsch to FC Augsburg

According to the article linked here (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/news/28305/simon-jentzsch-wechselt-zum-fc-augsburg.html) on Jentzsch's move, like Ledgerwood, Jentzsch only got a one-year contract. For me, that doesn't show a lot of confidence in either player by his new club.

FC Augsburg coach Jos Luhukay said, "We are happy to win the battle to bring Simon to FCA. His experience and quality will help us."

Simon Jentzsch said : "I decided for FC Augusburg over a foreign club in the UEFA Euro League because I am impressed with FC Augsburg's philosophy, new stadium and sporting perspective. After personally speaking with the new coach and the general manager, I had a good feeling. I am firmly convinced this is a good fit."

FCA is putting together quite a squad for next season!

They are not bullshitting. They are trying to make a serious push for the 1st Bundesliga.

I hope Stevic is in Munich taking notes......

Yes, they are doing some seriously nice transfers....and for NOTHING in most cases.

As for Stevic taking notes? You and I both know that he thinks he is a frea'n Genius. Stevic won't take notes from anyone other than Stevic. He will be gone by mid 2010.
