The Premier League is one of the toughest leagues in the world. Many great players arrive and struggle to succeed. Here’s a team of players who made it look easy.

I’ve not included players who only arrived in January, so no Arshavin. Also, the players can’t have played in the Premier League before this season (so Mendy, Collison, Tomkins and Sorensen don’t count).

GK: Boaz Myhill (Hull)
Left Back: Herita Ilunga (West Ham)
Right Back: Jose Bosingwa (Chelsea)
Centre Back: Michael Turner (Hull)
Centre Back: Vincent Kompany (Man City)
Left Midfield: Chris Brunt (West Brom)
Right Midfield: Samir Nasri (Arsenal)
Centre Midfield: Robert Koren (West Brom)
Centre Midfield: Marouane Fellaini (Everton)
Attacking Midfielder: Luka Modric (Spurs)
Striker: Robinho (Man City)

Who would you include?

if you take out Gomez's first half of the season definitely him in keep. But his horrific first half brings him down a lot. He really settled in the 2nd half and was a good reason why Spurs only let 10(11?) goals in at home this year (which i think was the best in the EPL this year)

Hangeland wasn't a newcomer this season. He joined in January 2008 last year right after Hodgeson came in.

Fuller has played for Portsmouth and I think Southampton in the Premier League before (and was totally crap, though good this season). I seem to remember Tomkins appearing a couple of times towards the end of last season. I left Arshavin out just because he only came in January.

Arshavin contributed more in five months than anyone on that list, save Fellaini, so I'd have included him anyway.

Robinho impressed me with the way he managed to adapt to English football.
