I know Dallas is a reach pick, but these playoffs are a free-for-all, and they are playing well down the stretch, and have solid goaltending. Turco will get the job doen just a bit better than Cujo in the Conference Finals. My heart says Bruins, but I'm still not totally sold on the overall defense. I talk about the Avs more on here, but I see them more, and see nothing that tells me they can beat Dallas, or would have beaten Calgary if they won the division.
I hope revsrock is right, and if not the Bruins then the Avs, but I just don't see it happening.

I don't know who's going to win it since every matchup, especially in the East, has the potential to be a classic. That being said, there are two things that I know that I want: 1) for the Islanders to get swept and beaten badly, and 2) for the Leafs to win the Cup, simply because Brian Leetch is on the team. Yes, this is what it has come down to for me and many other Ranger fans. GO LEAFS GO!

Saving my semi-final picks till after round 1 lol...overall this looks like the most exciting postseason in recent memory, especially in the East...

Sure, as a B's fan I am biased, but I can dream. And this one isn't so far fetched, is it? First Pats, and now B's. What a great year if it happens... :)

I appreciate all you fellas picking the Devils in the first round but as much as I love 'em I don't see it happening this year. Correct these stats if I'm wrong:
Devils vs Flyers w/ Stevens = 2-0-1
Devils vs Flyers w/o Stevens = 0-3-0
Niedermayer is gonna need to play 40 mins a game. I hope I'm wrong. I'm just preparing for the worst.

NEVER discount marty brodeur, when he retires he will be known as the winning-est goalie of all-time...he might even be THE BEST (although patty roy "invented" the butterfly and he yelled louder so people paid more attention)
***disclaimer*** patrick roy IS the best of all time right now.

I'm not discounting Marty. It hasn't been one of Marty's best seasons and not having Stevens has been a reason for that.
