Pressing seems to be an integral part of the Antilles' game--most of the articles during the Antigua series mentioned it. Interesting that the keeper spot is up for grabs: Homoet was the number one, but Pisas played very well in the second leg against Antigua, when Homoet was hurt. Pisas is the local player, Homoet the Ajax property.
Netherlands Antilles roster:
Raymond Victoria, Nuelson Wau (Willem II), Daniel Rijaard (ADO Den Haag), Eldridge Rojer (Vitesse), Nyron Wau (Helmond Sport), Brutil Hos‚ (FC Dordrecht), Richmar Siberie (Cambuur), Angelo Cijntje (Veendam), Leon Kantelberg (Stormvogels Telstar), Shalimar Jones (Fortuna Sittard), Kenneth Cicilia (Sparta), Ferdino Hernandez (ADO 20), Giovanni Franken (DOTO Pernis), Raymond Roos (Delta Sport), Raymond Homoet (AFC Ajax amateurs), Djuric Winklaar (Lecce, Italie).
FWIW Homoet plays for "Ajax Zaterdag" (they must play their games on Saturday), which is Ajax's third team. I think they play in the top division of the dutch amateur league (there doesn't seem to be pro/rel between the two professional divisions and the amateur division), and the team is mainly made up of players in their mid/late 20's (Homoet is 25), so it's not a team of prospects. Still cool to have an "Ajax" player in the squad though.

I was surprised to see that the Netherlands Antilles has a player in Serie A, so I did a little reasearch on him. It seems that Lecce actually loaned him out to SPAL Ferrara (http://www.spalcalcio.it/pagine/squ.htm) (Serie C1) this past season. Anyway, it was the first I'd ever heard of him.
How many other CONCACAF players are there in Italy? I can only think of Martinez, the Costa Rican defender at Brescia. Am I missing anyone?

Honduras has David Suazo (Cagliari) and "Rambo" de Leon (Fiorentina). Vinicio Espinal of the Dominican Republic plays all the way down in Palazzolo in Serie C2 (his contract is owned by Atalanta of Serie B).

Thanks, gohb. Can't believe I forgot about the two Hondurans (duh). Had no idea about Espinal, however.
Jamaica to name 18-man squad, Goodison doubtful

Bermuda article about the status of the second leg--they say it will be at home but on July 9, El Salvador insist it will be played in the US on the 20th. Apparently there is a problem with hotel accomodations

What might politely be described as a complete disaster for St. Lucia:
http://www.stluciastar.com/weekend/FriJune11-04/sports.htm
The worst news is that Valencius (the correct spelling) Joseph, one of their T&T pros, is out with a broken leg.
Trinidad & Tobago squad:
Clayton Ince (Crewe Alexandra), Durance Williams (CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh), Hayden Fitzwilliam, Marvin Andrews (Glasgow Rangers), Brent Sancho (Dundee FC), Derek King (Joe Public), Dennis Lawrence (Wrexham), Marlon Rojas (Police FC), Carlos Edwards (Wrexham), Anthony Rougier (unattached), Kerwyn Jemmot (Jabloteh), Angus Eve (Jabloteh), Stern John (Birmingham City), Densil Theobald (Arima Morvant Fire), Darryl Roberts (Liberty University), Kenwyne Jones (Southampton), Kerry Baptiste (Jabloteh), Keyeno Thomas (Jabloteh)

Supposedly, Rocco Placentino at Avellino (currently Serie B, but relegated next season) has Canadian citizenship or roots. I don't know for sure, and his profile gives no clues either:
http://www.illupo.it/dettagligiocatore.asp?idcalciatore=113#
EDIT: Apparently he is on loan to Teramo in Serie C. http://www.canadasoccer.com/eng/nationals/profile.asp?id=125&sub=3
Placentino played for Canada's U-23 at the recent Olympic qualifying tournament.

Last season he was with Bolton in the EPL, but I don't remember if he ever got into a first team game. He did make the substitute's bench a few times.

Sorry man, I can't agree with you on the 3-1 loss to NA, nor the 4-0 win for Honduras. The ranking of ANT is not the best, but since december 2003 we came up 17 pts. It's not how you've been playing for the last 8 years that counts, it's how you're playing now... I have seen the Antillean team play, I can't see them only scoring 1 point in two games against a team that had its last win 8 games ago, I'm sorry I can't.
But then again I might not be looking at this objectively, because it's the team of my country, afterall I mean, it's not like 'Patrick Kluivert' is half Antillean ;) .

drakeemberton did you see honduras last 7 games, i bet not, so you shouldn't talk I'm not being biased but Honduras will at least score an aggregated difference of 5 goals on your team, they have most of their players and are ready to play. they dont have all they have most but still 3-0 today thats my prediction

He was never actually w/ Bolton, except for the few weeks in which he trialed for them. He is with Racing Ferrol in Spain.
