Painting your shoes?

I heard some people paint their shoes for fun..... can someone tell me the cons of this? There are some stripes in mine that I want in a lighter shade, like white. Does the paint come off easily after a few matches?

go for it if u want...but the paint is going to easily come off...especially if you're gonna play with them...it'll just scratch off or fade

that depends cus when i did it not much came off after i painted them twice so paint em then wear them then paint again and use car interior and youll be fine.

beckham237 would it be better if you put 2 layers or more on??? i saw dema kovalenko has his accelerators painted black up front and white in back and was thinking of doing the same to mine

definetly two or i would go with 3 but if you want the best look do a undercoat of either prime or permenat marker.

im thinking of doing my shoes like dema kovalenko's accelerators... he has them half black half white.... do i use car interior paint and a small paintbrush??? what type of brush do u recommend?? ill put sharpie/permenant marker on them first and then maybe 4-6 layers of car paint or whatever paint u recommend to use

just get the car interior spray paint and dont worry bout the brush.

I used to have this old pair of black FILAs and I decided I hated the big red F on the side of the shoe so I took a big black magic marker and filled it in. You could still see the F but it wasn't as obvious.

spray paint!! but then it would just look sloppy.... if half of it has to be white/black then itd be less work to just apply several coats with a brush instead of spraypainting it all and then having to re-spray paint the parts i missed or got another color on

What?Just tape off the parts you dont want to paint
