I have been using Nike Mercurial Vapor Chrome SHoes. In the beginning i thought they were okay. But using them for a while ive got serious problems with my heals. Ive got bumps on the back of both my heels. The doctor told me that it was something called Haglunds deformity. So now my season is spoiled (we play summer-season here in norway) because of these shoes. I might have to operate and were crutches for six weeks.

I was wondering if there are anyone else that have got problems with these shoes.

Sorry to hear that, nice shoes though. When you wear them how does it feel? Some people can't wear certain shoes, thats a fact but when you first tried them did they feel really comfortable? Like for me I tried both Preds and Vapors and I much prefer the latter, feels great and improves my acceleration alot.

only problem i had was the blisters at the begginning but after that my heels were fine even though the blisters left a scar. I now have the pulses but i still wear my vapors because they are one of the best ive had

Vapors really messed up my feet. I was getting blisters waaayyyy after they were broken in. Also the ball of my right foot was killing me. Vapors...worst cleat purchase...ever.

wow i didnt know vapors could mess so many peoples feet up and still be the best cleat to others who have had them... shows you people have way different feet/opinions.

Vapors didnt caused any porblems for me until i've been playing in them for a concutive 3 hours. Blisters appear on my heels. That was about it, it was annoying for a couple of days after. But after that everything was fine. This had also happened to my friend. He had blister for the first 5 times he wore them, after that probably the heel guard had been soften so the problem didnt ocur anymore.

vapors...hmm..awesome cleats the ball feel is diffrent and its so much easier to move your feet quicker...i love them...
At first, since i knew that they couse blisters at the beginning, i went to a park and play in them for 30-1hr a day to break them in. I Dont have a soccer season now here cuz i only play HS and HSSOCCER is in fall.

Also which is pretty weird...... When i went to a store to try vapors on with my brother...he didnt even try them on cuz he said that they will suck at curving the ball and they are too narrow for his feet. But when i got my vapors he tried to play in them and he now really wants to get vapors because he said u get so quicker and the freekick shooting is great (BTW thats his favorite thing to do) he was gonna get f50s but now hes getting vapors since they are only 90 bucks on Eastbay.com. peace

that was a moving story...... since everybody here has basically said that the blisters go away after a while I may try them out.

vapor's are awesome when you first try them.. i had a choice between azt's and chromes at first and when i tried them, i loved the chromes.. the poron heel locked my heel and it felt great.. first time i played with 'em they felt like heaven.. but the second time they just dug into my heel and made me cry like a constipated baby.. and i had two MASSIVE blisters and i had to lay off football for a week.. i had to save up for azt's and i'm very veyr happy with 'em now, and i'm actually scared to go back to my chromes because i don't know if they'll dig in again.. ?

no put it on your heel...i dont get blisters at all and i don t use anything to prevent them.....wrap it around ur ankle and cover the part where u get blisters...or use bandaids!
