I'm all for Nike helping us foot the bill to help us keep him. Could also be that he's starting to realize Madrid is a bit of a circus at times. He can always go there later in his career.

Ballague or w/e said in an article today that this so called transfer pre-contract was an agreement that still required Sir Alex to approve. So really, it's like any other player. Which means what he said before was actually bollocks. ANYONE SURPRISED?

that's the article. Says the agreement is dependant on Sir Alex allowing Ronaldo to leave. Well, ffs, i was under the impression that every transfer worked this way.

Haha, talk about this so called and stupid "agreement" in the Real Madrid board and they will gang up on you saying they're media sources are the best, every single one of them are fully convinced that there is an agreement between Manchetser United and Ronaldo. (Not talking about the apparent agreement between Calderon and Mendes)
And also, "Manchester United Premier League Champions Range" is being advertised of Balague's website! I can't believe it! lol. :D

We need Ronaldo more than ever now. The ony and I mean only adequate replcement for Ronaldo would be Kaká. None of this Ribery bollocks or Benzema. He also showed yesterday that he gets up for it even if everyone else does not. Give him the 200k a week contract.

Why should we pay Ronnie more money? He just got a new contract last year. He should be more than happy with that.
And Kaka would not be an adequate replacement for Ronaldo. Over the last 3 years, Ronaldo has been a much much better player. In Kaka's defense, his knees are not right anymore. But that guy is still playing off old reputation when he's thrown in with the world's best. After he recovers this offseason, I have no doubt he'll be back near the top. But right now, Kaka isn't anything we need.

As far as I can see he (i.e. his agent) is yet to capitalise on last years breakout season

He will be offered a new contract this summer or within the next 6 months.

Ribery is much better then kaka and kaka has lowered his level this year. Benzema is what Man Utd needs and they can live without Kaka (if cristiano ronaldo does not leave of course)
