It has become a painful thing to watch Les Bleus, I merely do it because it's my NT...What a sad show with the Saint-Etienne public also displaying such a nice spirit ; I can't believe that the few guys who were there paid to boo and jeer...I guess that's another stadium to put on the blacklist for now.

Obviously, there was a slight difference in motivation between both teams. the Nigerians wanted a "prestigious" win while the French wanted to go on vacations avoiding any kind of injuries. Difficult to have a proper idea on the actual performance of Domenech's men, except maybe the two constant concerning topics :the lack of serenity in defence and the the lack of creativity elsewhere.

Considering the context, I found the fact that Vieira could play the whole match encouraging.

Encouraging...Well, sometimes I frankly wonder. Even if we qualify for the WC by the skin of our teeth then what's the point ? What for ? Have our ass handed to us at the global level ?

I think Ray is completely lost, he actually has no plan at all. He only wants to experiment secretly hoping that one day, it's gonna tick. He's inventing the concept of heuristic managing...Well, it's not really an invention, it has been used for centuries but he might still patent his own.

That still leaves us watching that painful display helplessly hoping as well that it might tick miraculously, one day...
