David Gill says they are agreeging TV rights to screen MUTV across north America, soon. All the matches will be screened live on MUTV in the US this summer, its inline with the extension of services of MUTV!

Acro, this had better not be an April Fool's joke. ;)

If true, it would be awesome, and long overdue news.

Is this going to be another channel only digital and dish subscribers get? Hopefully lots of bars will get it.

YES Network already shows the weekly MUTV game (on a couple of days delay).

True, but YES is only available (for the most part) to a relatively small portion of the country. Plus subscribing to YES would be giving money to the MF Yankees, and really who wants to do something like that?

No, it makes sense to me. It was on the MUTV news today.

Acronym - I'm calling Homeland Security and putting your name on the list for Guantanamo Bay if this is an April's Fool joke...

lmao; seriously man, I forgot about April fools, he mentioned it an interview today. How many ManUtd fans are in North America? Must be a lot, are there any supporters clubs?

p.s.; Do you have that shirt the Cantona one; its awesome!

YES is actually available throughout the country on DirecTV. I'd imagine they will not be pleased at this because they'd have dropped Man U matches if they didn't want them.

I don't know how this is possible as networks wholly owned by foreign companies aren't allowed. I'd have to think YES or Setanta/Charter (Partners in UK network NASN) bought a piece of the channel. It will almost certainly be a premium channel unlike YES which comes on the same package as FSW.

I take it MUTV would be expanding the # of hours it broadcasts to maybe 15-20 per day?

I dont know how soon this is going to happen, but maybe you wanna email David Gill and find out more. Im not sure of what network itll be on. It was only on the news last night. How much would it be and how much would ya pay? In the UK im paying £6.99 a month its on from 11am to sometimes 1.30am.

But, Fox Sports World shows all (almost?) of the games anyways. ManUTV would be great, though.

Well, MUTV isn't for showing live matches (though they do show all matches on tape-delay). They provide a lot of United-related programming including pregame shows, interviews, training reports, etc. That would be cool to have itself.

Youth matches and Reserves matches - that's what they have that I want...

This, if true, would be the greatest thing that could happen. Well not the greatest thing (I can think of plenty of others) but it would be really darn cool. It probably won't be shown out here in Utah.

That too will be my main concern.

Of course we already rule since we get GolTV. Tu futbol, tu canal!
