Any word on the Confed Cup or Gold Cup?

I know the upcoming qualifier is being sorted out and will begin between 8 and 8:30 ET. But what of the Confed Cup or Gold Cup?

The Confed Cup has games against Italy and Brazil, those should be huge draws.

I know FSC is advertising viewing the Gold Cup, but will they have the USMNT games as ESPN hold the rights?

Did ESPN have the rights in 2007? Because the final of the GC was on FSC.

They've had them for awhile. It's too bad ESPN wouldn't even show it on delay, maybe it'll be different this year. I just want to know. The confederations cup is three weeks away and we can't watch it? preposterous

ESPN has never held the rights to the Gold Cup. The GC is a regional tournament and rights are purchased thru Concacaf and not FIFA, so this falls outside of the deal that ESPN got for the world cup.
