Now I know the supporter clubs have kegs, but are regular fans allowed to bring kegs to Lot 8 on game day?

Yep, just make sure you check people's id :) Oh, and unless you buy the keg in DC, DO NOT tell the place you're buying it from where you'll be drinking it!

So, where are you parking? :D

Please excuse this minor thread hijack...

What with the title of this thread, it seems a good time and place for the following helpful information for some of our RFK newbies:

Redhook and Foggy Bottom are available in pints (full pints) for $6.00 near the back of section 310. They will allow you to buy 2 per person. Tip them well...we want that stand to stick around.

Cheers,
Tim

The brewery folks have also been requested by the SEs to put a second stand behind 134/135. They claim they will be happy to give the stadium people a second cart, but they have no way to specifically place it, but they were supposed to pass on our request to the stadium folks!

It isn't a hijack if it still pertains to the thread title :)

Yes, and within 30 seconds of my seat...

The usual bartender is a bit slow, but he's a great guy. Important planning tip: there is always a line and it moves slow, but there is a TV to watch while you wait (if you get stuck in line when the game/half starts).

I usually tip well and have found that he'll let you suck down on your first beer while he pours the second - and then refills the first one!

Kegs are allowed only in the back of Lot 8 - Outside the barricaded parking lot - Near the River -

(that's where I usually park)

As for Foggy Botton - Yes - The beer is great - Best deal around - But last year the service was horrible - Those guys seemed like they knew nothing about operating a keg, keeping the pressure right and keeping up with demand - And they learned nothing during the course of the season

Well, you should join the SEs (if you haven't already) and come to our tailgates this season. We'll have Foggy Bottom FREE for our members all season - and the service is excellent :D

Hey without the kegs we supporters are also just "regular" fans too. Its when we tap into their power that we become true super beings :D

Fosters, Rolling Rock, Shiner Bock, Dos Equis, Yuengling, Sam Adams, Heiniken, and great horde of other beers that happen to appear on our weekly hit list.

It isn't a hijack if it still pertains to the thread title :)There are already two of 'em, but we need a third! There's one on the 100 level (just to the right of where you enter if you're coming in from Lot 8, which is Gate B, I think) and the one TEConner mentioned on the 300 level. For some reason, both are on the same side of the stadium. Do they think only the "rich people" who sit in VIP seats drink Foggy and Redhook? :(

There is discussion of a beer garden in another thread. Is that what you are talking about behind 310? Does anybody know anything about it?

I believe we'll be downing Yeungling.

Our 'super powers' increase exponentially after each pint. Must be the Yeungling.

I suggest a properly handled Budweiser when powering up. 25% of the entire United States population can't be wrong.

Budweiser is an official sponsor of Major League Soccer. So drink up knowing each drink is helping support our heroes on the field.
