forgive my ignorance, but I will be in Vancouver for a week, starting Saturday, and am wondering whether it is possible to get ESPN and ESPN2 programming there. I would like to see the baseball game on Sunday night (which I think is on ESPN), and the Champions League game Wednesday (which is on ESPN2). Also, if you can recommend any bars/restaurants in which to watch, I'd be forever in your debt.

thanks.

I believe it is illegal to get ESPN/ESPN2 in Canada, but it can be done if you find a bar that has a grey dish (I believe)

Champions League will not be a problem because TSN (Canadian sports network) has been showing games every Tuesday and Wednesday.

The baseball game on Sunday night might be on TSN or a channel called The Score.

Thanks a million--I'll just hunt down a sports bar, then.

I believe there are a few posters on bigsoccer from Vancouver. They might be able to help you out (finding a sports bar).

TSN will have the Arsenal-Chelsea match at 11:30am PST on Tuesday. On Wednesday TSN will be showing Deportivo de La Coruna vs AC Milan also at 11:30am PST.

I can't seem to find any info on the Sunday night baseball game. You might have to find a bar that has ESPN (which shouldn't be too difficult).
