Final series standings prediction

I'll probably finish 4th or 5th in my league. Im playing a team undefeated in 9 this Sunday so i will probably lose that but the other 2 are winnable games

Like i just posted on the club register thread this is weird, the team your playing on Sunday is my team Forest II (and by the way its undefeated in 10 ;) )

It looks like i'm going to finish top unless i mess up one of my fairly easy (no offense pete) last 3 games. It's been a 2 horse race for the title the whole season but an away win and a home draw with second place seems to have secured me victory.

Hey Andy, it is weird meeting the person im playing this Sunday on here. I doubt i will beat your team and probably will be lucky to score. I only started 2 to 3 weeks back and have been trying to strengthen my squad without spending too much. You hope i dont nick 3 points by luck and neutron win their remaining 3

That's really amazing that you guys are in the same series. You'll find though, that you might get a few weird connections with people in these forums, I know personally, I've bought a player or two unknowingly from people on here, and I've sold players unknowingly to people on here, a lot of weird connections happen with this game

Those are current standings... here are my predictions:

1. Big Daddys - No one can stop them!!
2. Real Sociedad - Another good team, but can't beat Big Daddys
3. Albito FC - I really think I'm better than this team (I beat them earlier in the season) but they are off to a great start and that might be able to allow them to hold their high ranking.
4. Norge Vikings - I think I finally figured this game out and have gotten most of my tough games out of the way while some of the teams above me still have to duke it out with each other, this can only be good for me. :D
5. FC Clydesdale - A new owner took over in the middle of the season and has gotten FC on the right track, but most likely it is too late to rally for a top position in the league.
6. Madison Maulers - This is the only guy who does any press announcements, unfortunately his team is terrible and he only has bad news to report. Currently on a 5 game losing streak, and it doesn't look to get better.
7. Bay County Blues - Bay County has been unimpressive so far and should make even less noise in the 2nd half of the season.
8. AngerManagement - A new owner in the middle of the season and the worst roster in the league. These guys still have a long way to go before they get out of the cellar.


Ehh, with the season almost over, here is how it has gone down. Looks like I messed up on Bay County (he will most likely finish 6th, possibly 5th) but otherwise, everything is going according to plan and I am on pace to finish 4th as I play #7 and #8 in my next 2 games while Bay County and Clydesdale each play the #1 and #2 teams over the next 3 weeks. :D

Well I had the top 3 exactly right :) Four through seven kinda screwed me up, but I figured that is where I would screw up, Timbuktu was a surprise, so was the suckyness of Red Mambas who were second last season. Overall my predictions were pretty well.

I got the order pretty much right, except for switching Butterflies and Cerrano. And Cerrano would have been second if he hadn't thrown his last game. My series is pretty unbalanced, which makes predicitons each week pretty easy--3 really good teams, 3 ok teams, and 2 crap teams. Next year it should be about the same. In a few seasons, however, I hope to be one of the really good teams.....
