It sure seems like I've been hearing/reading about lots of United casualties ahead of tomorrow's matchday. I don't think I've seen a place where all the casualties are listed so I thought i"d post a request:

Please list the player and supposed casualty in your post

I think we've seen a number out of the ARSe camp as well so, if you know of those, post em!

I'll start:

Ruuuuuuuuuuuud - Knee problem that some say will keep him out of the match against ARSe even
Fletch - out
Carroll - out with shoulder treatment
Scholes - Out.
Gazza - out. In fact, this is the first england team I remember with only one United player in the possible starting 11 (Phizza) although Brown could start
Saha - Dunno that he was called up? Has had that calf/achilles problem so I don't think he's going anywhere
Giggs - Uh, no-showed on ol' Markie...
Howard - Out with Sir Alex-itis

From the ARSe world:
Pires - Out of France's match with achilles trouble lol
Viera - Out as well with a knee problem
Sol - out as well
Ashley - Out (what a girl)

Good thing that Howard is not playing tomorrow. I was actually worried that he was rested ahead of the big game only to travel to Poland midweek.

And I didn't know Ruud's injured . . . hope he's alright.

Well, Ronaldo is scheduled to play for Portugal but, outside of that, I don't know of anyone other than Philly that is playing today.

....seems everyone is out of the International Duty today for one reason or another. How does Viduka feel about this mass exodus?
He tried to say he had an injury awhile back and was given a one match ban by the FA for not flying off to Venesuela to play for Australia.
How about all these guys?
The starting elevens would look a bit weird on Saturday if all the rested errrrr injured guys didnt play.
Just seems on the eve of a big game a lot of injuries have popped up.
It also says that this international is not important in Europe. I know it is World Cup qualifying in South America.

as always, very insightful delmundo... I guess that FA has times when it picks on small clubs and times when it picks on big clubs... The Ruud situation was funny because they said he had an injury to get out of the match and everyone over reacted to it causing them to go back on their word and go so far as to say he might play in the match today...

The difference was that no one complained about people missing yesterday's matches.

Also, Viduka's missing that match was meangingless for both club and country; the case could be made that players on teams still in the UEFA CL, FA Cup, etc had a little more reason to pull up injured.
