The Village People take on the Mighty Bavarians in our second most important game of the season.

Needless to say, this is a must-win. Discuss.

what is there to discuss? It is a must win no matter what and then the bigger margin of victory the better.
no missed chances please

Well there you have it! Nothing else to cover...mods let's shut 'er down! :D

Makkay...you're spot on. Anything short of 3 points and at least a few goals doesn't help us much towards hoisting the plate in the Marienplatz. I understand that the "company line" is to simply qualify for CL....BUT, we're Bayern and the title is well within reach. We need to take care of our own business and hope for a slip up...

If Toni continues to misses sitters.....then I don't know what I'm going to do...................................................................probably just come back on here and complain to you guys just like every other time!:p Think of where we'd be (in relation to Wolfsburg) had he made even half of the blown sitters since the break...

I suspect that if Toni is having another poor outing he will be replaced by Miro arround the 50-60 minute mark.

The time for being patient until he "finds his groove" is long gone....and should have been sooner, although there were no real good sub options...:(

If Klose were fully fit, I have no doubt Heynckes would drop Toni to the bench.

If we're trailing at halftime, can we expect a Poldi-Toni-Klose situation?

Lucio will play rightback again. :D

Toni, MvB, Ze and Ribery are one yellow away from suspension.

I actually liked the Lucio at right back experiment. Given our current options he is definately the best choice.

If by 'poor outing' you mean score the game winner from inside the six, then I will take that.

As the coach said, "whichever team slips up 1st amongst the top four may be playing UEFA Cup next year".

No pressure. LOL!! :D

Lovely. Just what we needed going down the stretch. MVB is replacable and Ze is replacable, but both together could pose a serious situation. Toni is thankfully replacable with Klose return to fitness.

Ribery however is essential, regardless of whether he intends to share the ball or not.

That goal was incredibly lucky. His first touch was atrocious and forced him into an impossible angle, he then completely miss-hit the ball, and I can't believe it rolled slowly past the disparaging dive of Kadlec.

Maybe that stroke of luck is what he needed to get back on track, but he has been absolutely garbage for all of 2009.

Will be a dirty game. We could care less about the result, but will give Bayern a good fight. At least 2 players will get red cards and Ribery and MvB will face their 5th yellow cards.

Super surprise: Vedo Ibisevic will play ! :D;)

cant afford to play against the village bastards like we did against leverkusen. no room to rely on luck for the last 180 or so minutes of the year

I think Toni ought to stay on. He provides us with something no one in the team can, the type of striker that can just come up with a goal out of nowhere at any moment in the game.

Lucio will play rightback again. :D

Imagine we have to play Stuttgart without all those! YIKES!

Its important to go all out against Hoffenheim and put the game away early.

Lukas Podolski. I cannot wait for him to ship off back to Cologne. But man, I'm hoping his improved performances from having a manager willing to cuddle with him continue, and that he is MOTM for these final two matches. Come on Poldi, keep it up for two more matches, and then you can ship off to the easy life!

Count on Beck to have another solid match against Ribery, giving him no space to work, and being on him like a cheap suit.

The goal wasn't intentional at the slightest, he mis-hit it and it turned into a goal. I dream of Toni-Gourcuff swap, but I know it's a silly dream. Maybe Toni + 5m would sweeten though, even though it looks like Adebayor is going there. I don't want Toni here next year either way.

Must spread rep to Shealy the sly bastard. :D We have to win this match, I want us assured going into the last game that we will be in Champions League. Simple as.

i still have faith in toni for tomorrow. Despite his scoring form has been really bad, he always gets into good positions. In other words, he hasn;'t lost it all. He still has the nose for goals just that he couldn't bury them. A leon is always a leon. It might be sick but it still has the leon heart. This is the true defiintion of quality.

Beck is a doubt for the game.

The entire back Hoffenheim's is one big chaos.
