owner of kcw was swedish?? i should have guessed. i guess slashers has a swedish manager too.

Yeah, swedish guy married to an american. He's a US resident now though. He translated the game for me. We worked together at Sprint for over 3 years.

Slashers - that's my brother actually. He'd got dirty blonde hair but unfortuantley he's not swedish, not female, etc ..... (don't go there)

We are trying.
My other brother, adam, had the team "The Wolfpack" but he didn't log in for quite a while and just recently lost his team. Also, my brother in law had "Minute Men" but he quit last season (gave walkovers in the ML for lik 4 straight games, in II.4 now)

I didn't even realize like half your family was in that, geeze, pretty soon it's just gonna be the GM-George family and friends playing in the ML.

It's like having a celebrity on the boards. We used to have a minor celebrity when Elwood (aka IndyRacing on HT) was posting. I'd classify Lone Star as a minor celebrity as well.

I'd agree there. But I found out that he isn't able to post from work though.

GM-George
Team: Cyclones
USA
Season 23 in Major League
Team id is 8104

I have played since Swedish season 8 and then started in USA league in season 11. I startd on October 20, 1999 when the owner of the ML team Kansas City Wizards (who was also then in Swedish league) showed me the game. For about a year I believe I was the only american playing ... oh yeah, the game was in Swedish too :D
Here's to much success for Cyclones in the USOC on Hattrick so that he may NEVER play in the Bigsoccer Cup.

Oh and welcome dude.

Now stop it, you're making me blush.

I consider myself a minor celebrity as well. I currently hold one of the worst single season records for a top division in the entire Hattrick world! I went 0-3-11 when I made it to the ML 3 seasons ago..........

Thanks for the welcome.
I was telling helghallen the other day that I technically wouldn't ever want be in the BS Cup since that would mean my team was embarassed inthe early rounds of the USOC... But from everything I have heard and seen, the BS Cup is very cool.

George! Welcome!
If you want any help learning the difficult aspects of the game, don't hesitate to ask. Were almost all division V experts and some of us have been playing for a couple of seasons. Pretty darn successfull at it too, if I don't say so my self. Don't forget to read the rules. :p

Let me add my belated voice to the chorus welcoming George to the Boards. And if you do ever lose early to one of those bots in the USOC, let me know--I'm pretty tight with the BS cup dictators.

I just can't bring myself to use smileys. I guess the joking pomposity of my post would have benn more obvious if I'd used one, but for some reason I can't stand the little buggers.
