Just never again ask me to wear the puke green socks and we'll be fine, I got my butt handed to me wearing them last year, they were ritualistically burned after the match
It's funny you bring that up. Tomorrow/today (it is early Sunday right now) I'll be announcing the 2nd annual Puke Green Socks Rally.
You will not see me joining the rally this season, sorry.

You ask why Atlanta??? I am from Georgia originally and I am also a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech. GM-George got me hooked on hattrick. Good thing this is a sticky b/c I have a reputation as a thread killer. :)

Lone Star

Correct, Elwood and Lone Star got me involved by posting here way back in season 16, so I took the BigSoccer first then Hattrick route.
Funny to see the opposite happening now. I wish Indy would post here again, he gave the greatest advice when I was a newbie.
I still have his team bookmarked and follow his results every week, I feel like a stalker. He should go back to the Feyenoord kid logo though :)
Not to get off topic of the club register, but thanks for the props you guys. I help (helped) whenever possible, and Elwood used to chime in a lot more often. As for Dan Loney's California Sea Lions, anyone who listens to his advice is just a plain fool..............
I don't post much info anymore, mainly because tons of you have definately overtaken me with game knowledge. That, and I'm lazy. My club also peaked about 3 seasons ago, so it's not like I'm in the elite class anymore. Felt good making the Major League that one season, though.

The registry has grown so large, it will no longer fit on one page at the arena site. I may change some of the formatting and remove the country. I could go with a 2nd page, but don't really like that idea.
I'm open to suggestions. I may also drop it onto angelfire and post it there.

Isn't that a good problem to have. ;)
You could drop the country unless the team is from a country other then the US since most of those on this board are from the US

u could drop the hattrick handle since the team could be identified by its team name

u could drop the hattrick handle since the team could be identified by its team nameGood point. I think that will be the way to go. That will free up lots of characters. I may eventually have to convert it to HTML and host it at angelfire, but i'll hold off
And KS, it is an excellent problem to have.

As for Dan Loney's California Sea Lions, anyone who listens to his advice is just a plain fool....It isn't possible anymore to make the franchise-destroying mistake I made, which was to overspend trying to get the perfect, perfect coach.
That said, I'm sure I have plenty of bad advice to come. My "don't even pretend to put anyone on the wings, and keep the same lineup week after week no matter what so any player can see your weaknesses and plan accordingly" has worked out fabulously so far.
