I'm in debt and I'd like to get out. I figure I should sell this trainee. Should I sell him now or should I train him in other skills?

Check the TL--solid wingers don't go for much so you might be better off holding on to him.

I just had my main mid fielder knocked out for 5 weeks. (ugh)
Questions:
How much do doctors cost and what number will be needed to get him back on the pitch quickly?
Does his skills atrophy while he's injured? Form, stamina, etc.
Is it worth a division 6 team to get physiotherapists? What number is useful? What is the weekly cost?

the most doctors you can have are 10. they cost $1500 each.

well, you've probably noticed his TSI dropped a lot. the only thing that will drop for him (unless he's real old, and that would be just bad luck) is his form due to the fact that he wont be playing any more.

i think it is worth it. i have 6 right now but most people have much less. the weekly cost for them is $1500. All staff members cost $1500 each
god speed healing up your middie :P , im just finally getting my best middie healthy after a 5 week injury

good luck with the middie, it'll depend on how old he is how fast he recovers

What is the significance of a players specialty? Head, quick, ect...

From the Hattrick Rules:
Weather special events
Certain specialties may be better suited to certain weather condition. If a "weather event" happens, a certain player is affected for the rest of the game, and his player rating will reflect his performance accordingly.
Technical players lose Scoring and Playmaking skill in rain and gain the same skills in sun.
Powerful players gain Scoring, Defending and Playmaking skill in rain and lose Scoring in sun. They also get more tired in sun.
Quick players lose Scoring and Defending in rain, and also lose Defending in sun.
Goal special events
Unpredictable players can use their passing skill to create unexpected long passes, and their scoring skill to intercept the ball. Their unpredictableness may also create an unlikely scoring opportunity. If an unpredictable defender or inner midfielder has sufficiently low defence skill, they can also make an error on a pass that gives the opponent a chance to score.
Quick wingers and forwards can create a chance by using a burst of speed. This can be countered by the opposing team using a defender who is also Quick, or has sufficient defender skill to keep up.
Technical wingers and forwards can create a chance if their opposing defender or inner midfielder is a head specialist.Hope that answers your question.

To the PM trainers out there:
Have you ever gone out and bought a winger with high winging skill and low PM, then trained em as an IM to bring up PM? And if so, how were the results?

I didn't do it on purpose, but I had bought a winger who was also inad in PM, well recently he popped to passable PM. I don't know as a whole, but it seems like it may have helped my midfield a little bit. It certainly helped his transfer price evaulation on ht-buddy, it jumped up to over 100K when he got that pop.

What is the significance of a players specialty? Head, quick, ect...I didn't see that the [head] specialty was covered in that section Helg posted, so...
Head specialists have a chance to score headed goals on corners and I think also set pieces and some special events. Head specialists on your own side help defend against this, although there is the drawback (mentioned below) that head defenders may be exploited by technical special events.

When I'm looking at the HT lineup screen, how do the wings work? I assume my left is my opponent's right? Trying to figure out how to stack my players for this week's league match.

Yes. Your right is his left and vice versa.

I don't know if this is true or not, but was wondering about youth pulls- If you choose not to pull someone one week, is there any chance of giving up a great player, or does he remain the best one in your system for the next week you decide to pull?

It's random all the time.

It is all random, not pulling a player one week is not gonna make your next pull be any better.

Moral of the story there is no reason I can think of to not make a youth pull every week. However, it is a lottery so there are more losers than winners.

Moral of the story there is no reason I can think of to not make a youth pull every week. There is a possible reason -- average YP value not exceeding the $1000 cost to make the pull. Dunno if anybody's figured out which way that lies.

True, but that's not a reason to make a pull on week A but not on week B.\
You could just decide not to make youth pulls at all, but that takes the fun out of the game.

Can you play 3 Midfield wingers in a 3-5-2? If not can you play 3 wingers in any formation. As you can figure I have a lot of young wingers and want to play them in a friendly so I can train them.
If not, should I just play one at an IM postion?
