1795 supporters for me, a win this weekend might see me crack 1800 for the first time.

I'm up over 1100 now. A six game winning streak end of last season and beginning of this one helped me out a lot. In the past 1 and a half seasons, I've only lost like 4 supporters, and that was after getting shut out at home a few weeks ago to the best team in the league the first time he played his A-team in league.
I'm just now at 1200... in the middle of my third season

My last league line up was: Navarro Aparicio - Pfeiffer, Lynn, Crowley - Hays, Griggs, Rammo, Mariano, Hjerttorp - Ochoa, Wiebusch.
Oh yeah I have 948 supporters.

We now have at least two games complete in each of the groups now and things are starting to shake out.
Group A has three complete games under its belt. Dynamo KC has won all three games and holds a commanding 12 goals scored and a +10 goal differential. The remaining three teams in group A all have 2 points, each having won a single game. The comeback by RiverHawks in round 3 was quite a job and kept its chances of advancing alive. It was also one of the more exciting matches we have had so far.
Group B is clearly being dominated by Mongrel, who by virtue of its four wins has guaranteed itself a spot in the elimination round. Flatirons has taken advantage of the home and home games in the middle of the opening round games and has taken over 2nd place. Heavy Water is floundering in last place, the power of the poop clearly not affecting its opponents.
Group C has only played two games and makes predictions difficult. Scouser Tommies are in first by virtue of two wins in group play. Second place belongs to Raytown Rangers 82. Norge has one point and Panatha has no results as yet.
Predictions in order of seeding in elim rounds.
Mongrel FC
Dynamo KC
Scouser Tommies FC
Raytown Rangers 82
Daverules FC
Dallas Red Knights
Flatirons FC
RiverHawks

Looks like I am getting owned and predicted not to advance. Panatha FC's reserves suck. :(

Well Crap, I had a long post typed out and somehow I was signed out of bigsoccer,so the post is all gone, anyways, it was an analysis of the final games for group C basically. Tommies can take charge with 2 wins, and wrap up first place in the group. Rangers can pull ahead by 3 points with 4 left with two wins. A win by each would probably seperate them enough from the other two to give them the top two spots
My predictions (in no order):
Raytown Rangers 82
Mongrel FC
Dynamo KC
Scouser Tommies
Dallas Red Knights
Daverules FC
Riverhawks
Norge Vikings
The reason I chose Norge over Flatirons, is because Norge still has 4 games to play, 2 against Panatha, against whom Norge matches up well. Flatirons on the other hand, has Daverules away, and then hosts Mongrel who just seems to be a cut above everyone else in the group
final points:
Group A:
Dynamo KC - 12
Dallas Red Knights - 6
Riverhawks - 4
DC Untied - 2
Group B:
Mongrel FC - 12
Daverules FC - 8
Flatirons FC - 3
Heavy Water FC - 1
Group C
Scouser Tommies - 10
Raytown Rangers - 9
Norge Vikings - 5
Panatha (Sorry Spiro) - 0

Ok, we seriously need to do something about this with group C, we can't have the group falling any further behind, or else we won't finish the cup. Should we maybe make an example of Norge and do another walkover or no? I'm just tired of my team having one week in the cup and then the next week having to look for a friendly because some team didn't schedule the right friendly the week before.
Ok, I'm done, I just had to vent a little, but it is true, if we don't start moving in group C we aren't going to finish. Any other suggestions other then the walkover?

Next year, when we run the cup again, I think we need to limit it to teams who post regularly. A walkover may be the only thing that keeps the tourney moving.

It's my group and I have caused some of the problems in it, so I should not really comment.
BUT, at this point a walkover seems the right solution.

5. This rule may be changed upon feedback from the BS hattrick community. All appeals will be heard and handled by me (yay for real ultimate POWER!), with the advice of the community. In case I screw up again, appeals regarding me will be handeled by appointing a temporary BS cup dictator for life.
Went back through the thread and found this quote from ur_land, so I guess that it is his decision on whether or not a walkover is needing or should be used, although I hope he'd consult all of us on his decision;). Either way we probably need to keep this tournament moving to finish it this season. And like Chris said, this year is mainly a test year I think to see how things go, next year we can make changes to it, if it is decided that we want to do the cup again.

After offering Norge a friendly and finding out that he scheduled one, I went on and scheduled one myself with another team that had offered me one. I hope I made the right decision..

Since Norge has already scheduled a friendly, I don't see any reason for you to not schedule one of your own. There is really nothing you can do beyond that at this point. The thing that really needs to be determined at this point is whether or not we give you a walkover win to you and move on to the next round of the tournament for Group C.

I completely agree, a smaller cup would be much more easily managed.

I'm not sure smaller is what I'm looking for, but people who post regularly like you and I have more of a vested interest in making sure the Cup runs smoothly.

Has he totally forgotten that he is still in BS Cup? I do not understand how one can forget something like this.
