Ouch. Lost 6-0 against Mongol FC. Not an auspicious debut for my reserves, who had very little possession.
What really depresses me, however, is that Mongol's reserve midfiled is better than my starting midfield. Sigh. Oh well--it's only my first full season--I'm bound to get better, right?
Sorry. I swore I PIC'd that match. :p I'm just glad we got off injury free.
You WILL get better. Be patient. My B-team is almost as good as my A-team (for all intents and purposes) except that the B-team is comprised of the players in lesser form.
And just a little point of procedure, the name is Mongrel, but I can easily understand the problem since I have a Mongolian moniker such as GenghisKahn. ;)
So somebody remind me, do I now play you at your place?
***Nevermind, I remembered to check the schedule at Raytown Rangers' site.***

Sorry about the name mishap--the Gengis Kahn name did affect my memory. I can't wait to have the luxury of choosing my team based on form.....
If it's not too personal AAGunner, what are your midfielder's PM ratings (just an average of all of them)?

Avg - almost solid. Got 2 solids and an excellent, the rest are passable.
Played B.Stuart (a high solid I think) on wing. I'm trying to train my young guys in the 100% slots - he's in poor (relatively speaking) form otherwise he'd start as an IM in league play this week.
Played true wing opposite him. The three IM's were all passable, but the two offensive ones have nice secondaries.

Ouch I ended up losing 5-1! It is ok though because I am happy with a solid center and left defense. I also was solid in attacking on the wings which was pretty weird since I didn't have possesion. Oh well. Good match kuhn.

Good match Spiro, I had said you would be in trouble when my captain got subbed in due to an injury. Anyways, I've made a challenge to both Dynamo and Spiro for fun friendlies as I wait for Scouser and Norge to play next week in the first round. Speaking of first round, I think we need to makes sure that all first round games are played by this next week, if not, one team needs to be penalized, because we are probably gonna be pushing it to get this tournament all the way done anyways. The Dynamo reserves demonstrate their dominance and send the Riverhawks up the river.
Hey Phillip, what happened to that new player? :D
And the Dynamo webpage will be updated with the hour to show the results so far.
well, charlie odom did score a goal (and hurt one of your players)...I see you had 3 key guys from your usual starting lineup and I didnt have any, next time I'll adjust...
good match, well done...

Lets give DC Untied a chance to make that first rd game up.....and then all 4 of us can begin rd 2 the following week....if dcu doesnt accept, maybe remove them from cup??

Well does DCU have his email on his hattrick page? If he does, then send him an email reminder, that's probably the best thing to do. Arsenal, if you need a friendly, challenge Spiro, who I played this week, me and Dynamo are doing a cross group friendly for fun, so might was well get your training in.
Other then that, if the owner of the Norge Vikings is reading this just to let you know, I leave Friday of this week on Spring Break, doing a bus tour through Europe. Anyways, I have a friendly for next week when you are to play Mark, aka Scouser Tommies. After that match just make the challenge to me for the match the following week in the cup. It will be a little while before I can accept though, I return from my trip on Easter Sunday, so please be patient after you have made the challenge, I will accept it, it will just take a little while for me to get back to a computer and accept the challenge.

We need to check on DC Untied's status. His web page at HT-arena is now defunct. Someone go check when he last logged on to hattrick.

Yeah, that Odom guy plays dirty :)
And I don't have a full B-team. I thought I was closer to a full one, but turns out I was a little short :( It was still a great game, I just wish I could have seen more of it instead of just seeing the results at the end.

Well if we've contacted him, then he should know about it, he has yet to accept a friendly this week though, as of 18:50 hattrick time that is.

ok here is the scoop. Got home from work and dinner, got on the net, went to hattrick and he HAD challenged me so I went to challenges and there was nothing. My guess, he had accepted the other friendly.
Spiro, you up for a friendly next week?
kuhnscoot
02 Apr 2004, 12:51 AM
He has scheduled a friendly, check his current matches, he's playing Peakers. I won't make a set decision, but I say we possibly move on, with three in group A, and a bye for one team each week, like what was going to be done in group C. How does that sound?
PS I'm away from constant contact for a little over a week, as I leave for Spring Break today. Just FYI for you guys.
